    That caravan that is heading to our southern border is fleeing capitalism in Honduras. There is no socialism there whatsoever!

    You guys think of A = A. That is, socialism failed in Cuba and the Soviet Union therefore if we Americans adopt it we will meet with disaster. What you fail to realize is that you can not use the logic of A = A in this case. You can not compare apples to oranges. The Soviet Union and Cuba were backward countries when they adopted socialism and they were surrounded by capitalist hostile powers. When we adopt socialism we will adopt it as an advanced industrial nation with no fear of attack by hostile neighbors.

    If you socialists spent half the time you do reading Marx and defending socialism, in actually gaining and marketing skills financial gain, you wouldn't need to sit on your ass all day trying to get something for nothing... because in the end that's what drives your socialist dreams. Oh and envy...

    Communism and crony capitalism both suck, let us have social capitalism instead that takes the very best of moderate socialism and capitalism combining them disregarding the rest. The future is a mixed economy and syncretism.
