Not at all. You even left the question out of your post. Naughty Counsellor! Here it is again: So what, Counsellor, are the Rules of Interpretatation in the US? Can you tell me?
The 14th amendment. Why is it worded as it is. If all folks born here are indeed deemed citizens of USA why didn’t the amendment just say so with exceptions like folks on duty officially foreign nation executing duties. I mean think about this. If we were invaded by a female soldier of a foreign country and she gave birth here, should the child be a citizen of USA ?? A ridiculous No!!! Pres is charged to defend borders/country. And the constitution doesn’t assign limits they may use either. Just defend. What about all the possible disease these folks could bring into our country?? If this caravan garbage is allowed to come in. Then Europe should start loading plane loads of folks and fly them to USA. When they land they will all be accepted and can start having babies.
Good synopses of the legal argument the left will attempt to argue when this goes to the Supreme Court. It may have stood a slim chance with Kennedy but not with Kavenaugh
I have neither the time, nor inclination to teach you US Government...you should have learned that in high school.
No good ole BuBba. Lol You know the one who takes kickbacks from Russia for speaking. Why would Russia pay a former pres of USA for speaking?.. Oh yeah fake news doesn’t want to find out the whys behind this.
Jus Sanguinis is (and should be) applied to either parent, if either parent of a child born abroad is a US citizen, so is the child (unless the parents opt for -jus soli) which is usually an option, though some countries also require the child which could have a different citizenship by jus sanguinis to affirm its citizenship when it becomes an adult.
The rules of interpretation are the same in all Common Law jurisdictions (the 'Anglosphere'); that intent "is not to be addressed if the words under consideration are clear and unambiguous".
The president cannot interpret the Constitution nor can he change it. Do some studying before you further embarrass yourself.
Never said anything about him changing it DA. The 14th amendment ever been interpreted by Supreme Court?? For a case?? As far as illegal aliens go??? My point was why wasn’t the amendment if it means what some think it does, why didn’t they just write it to say anyone born here on US soil is a citizen with noted acceptions listed. The word jurisdiction is vague really and could be broad or narrow depending. Amendment sounds more like one of those infamous insurance policies we get when we pay. Btw, I broke a school record at my school. First student to ever score 100 percent on American History test dealing with US Constitution. So there. Btw, did you know the word sympathy comes between shxt- and syphillis in the dictionary? See, now you are edumacated.
Not relevant. Come to think of it, where in the Constitution is the claim a right to privacy. You recall, the term used in Roe v Wade.
You are already on the bottom here.........no more room for you to fall but yet, you are still running from the question asked. Telling...................
The "Anglosphere" are countries which were former colonies of Great Britain and have adopted Common Law:
