Is Nature God or is God Supernatural?

For all we know; God could be the sum of life itself spat back out at the very end of time back to the beginning of time to reproduce.


"Is there" a beginning of time?

 

Can you prove He didn't?

 

Of course not. Can you prove unicorns didn't? Can you prove I didn't? So what?

 

Nope I can't.

Therefore unicorns are as much a possibility as God creating the universe or some random explosion out of nothingness that you claim to believe.

See, I can do this, you cannot.

 

Why don't you just let the whole idea of "Faith in God" rest? It attracts you like a moth to a flame. You can't disparage it yet it eats you alive. Why let it rob you of your time here on earth? You will have an eternity to contemplate the things you have said.

 

Sure, if you think everything "possible" is, therefore, "equally likely" (an absurd idea by any measure). You don't insult science, you insult your own religious paradigm with this false equivalence. Science can then, rising out of this contrived equivalence, pursue knowledge and use methods to discern truth from falsity, for an idea. Unfortunately, your theism will always sit in the corner, with the unicorns.

What is it that you can do, that I can not? Be specific.

"Out of nothingness".... this is your demand, not science's demand. Don't dare or deign to place your constraints on what is or could possibly be. If that's the rule of the game, then I declare no gods; I win, go home.

And anyway, your constraint withstanding or not, science has already shown that we can get something from nothing. And when it does show this, you simply call the starting point, "something". It's an infinitely regressive, useless tautology, to redefine nothing at will. It certainly carries no weight or bearing on science and offers no support for the truth of any religious dogma, much less theism itself.
