Rights are rights, but the OP makes a good point in that how such an incompetent, likely crooked jurisdiction can't manage to run a fair election, yet can somehow cross t's and dot i's on inmate voting rights. I have a strong hunch the shooter was just one among many non convict inmates voting, and that Israel's (or whatever crony sheriff) goons make it very clear how these inmates are to vote regardless of how they are registered, and that's just one of many scams this corrupt city is running.

"Since this is a dangerous inmate, the sheriff's deputy is going to assist them in the voting process."

LOL...Talk about backtracking. Perhaps you need to take a look into FL election laws, a state that is run by a Republican governor. I dont see you make mention about that. Talk about hypocrisy.

neither innocent nor guilty. that has yet to be determined. he stands accused. only upon conviction can his voting rights be revoked.

This may shock you. but I don't take policy advice from crime victim families. He wants the guy dismembered after having an acid bath and pouring salt all over what is left of his skin. . That does not make those good policy objectives either.

Take it up with the Constitution. You know that document people like you pretend to care about?

I don't know Governor DeSantis well enough to do that, but thanks for the suggestion.

the accused are entitled to due process. you do not lose your voting rights unless you are convicted. the sheriff MUST allow inmates to register and vote, it is not up to him.

You mean like what you have done and Andrew pollack did? No reports at all of the murderer's voting card until he leaked it out. Pollack's twitter account is just a Trump kissing page and Dem hate account. Now, I wonder which Republican supporter gave him a copy of the registration card

Well, I'm a little torn by this. He, and others awaiting trial for felonies, have not been convicted and therefore have not lost their right to vote....but really...Dem operatives going into the jail to register these folks....come on...

Why not. Should they lose their right to vote based on a charge? Do you think they are going to get a two hour leave authorized by a judge, and transportion to the local elections office to do it on their own? Think like a taxpayer. You want to fund the manpower and the costs to truck them somewhere or would you prefer that someone come in?

Don't confuse them with facts. This meme has been pushed heavily on Trump TV. They're misleading their audience into believing that convicts can vote, even though the change in the law only allows convicts to vote after they've served their time. '

But having an angry "victim" (who isn't a victim) rant about it, without his facts on straight, makes better TV and panders to the audience's prejudices.

Which is what Fox is really all about!

the knuckle dragger in question is not a convict, however. and the father of a dead student is certainly a victim. he just happens to be wrong.

But the OP and Pollack used the murderer's voting card as an attack against Democrats
