I actually support Michael Bloomberg for his energy policies along with his actual business acumen, political experience and truly financial independence for his campaign.

    This
    ambition gap

    :applause:

The collective doesn't want addressed the fact that America is one of the cleanest countries because they try to fleece it in the name of the environment. 95% of the garbage in the ocean comes from 10 rivers. 2 in Africa at 8 in Asia. If they really cared about the environment they would do something about those areas.

If this is true, they are not investors. They are activists. Is there a shortage of green stocks for investors?

So these Global Investors said, start the flow of Trillions, or else.

Only intellectually vacant putzes would cower in the face of such BS.

If your young, or you do your childrens investing. Buy ABAB Alibaba and they will thank you in 30 years if you are still around.
Don't listen to those in this country trying to bash China either, (their debt and other problems) they are small compared to here. We hear, they have 40T in debt ! Yet, that is 40T Yuan or 5T US dollars. With 3 times the people and more, that is near nothing.
Imagine Alibaba as a US company that put a strangle hold like Amazon has, only starting in 1980 and it is still 1995.

In 20 years that stock should be $4000.00 a share. Today you can get it at $140.00. If it goes lower, buy more. Most all Tech stocks in China will explode with time. Ther housing is already built to move millions more into the cities. They will blow past us in 10 years. You either get in, or get out of this country. You will be cash poor if you are 25 here now and dont invest wisely over the next 30 years. Your 401K will collapse, rise, collapse again, rise again and will never avg. what the market did here from 1930 - 2000.
Those days are gone, of course your local raymond james, fidelity, Edward Jones guy will argue this because it is his job to do so...

2008 - now is a farce, a pump and dump by the investment banks... Move your 401K now and accept the gains you have received, get back in 3 or 4 years. Big recession coming and Dow will fall to 15K, Nasdaq to 4K. Lower than this is actual fair value. Wallstreet is a scam, you have to move in and out with the wave. They do, you should too

We have had the chance to take the leadership role in the world.. Not only political, but technological and commercial. We have all the ingredients to benefit from Climate Change mitigation. Only one we lack is that of a President with any brains.

Science denial has been the undoing of many empires in history. The Roman Empire decayed into the Dark Ages. China became irrelevant when they decided to shut down from new ideas and new technology. And while the rest of Europe was building better and faster ships to sail the Oceans, the Spanish Inquisition banned the books that made these new technologies possible. Bringing down the once powerful Spanish Empire.

Will we be the next empire to fall prey of ignorance and anti-Science?

Kinda reminds you of a movie.

    Ripper: Mandrake?
    Mandrake: Yes, Jack?
Ripper: Have you ever seen a Commie drink a glass of water?
Mandrake: Well, I can't say I have, Jack.
Ripper: Vodka, that's what they drink, isn't it? Never water?
Mandrake: Well, I-I believe that's what they drink, Jack, yes.
Ripper: On no account will a Commie ever drink water, and not without good reason.
Mandrake: Oh, eh, yes. I, uhm, can't quite see what you're getting at, Jack.
Ripper: Water, that's what I'm getting at, water. Mandrake, water is the source of all life. Seven-tenths of this Earth's surface is water. Why, do you realize that 70 percent of you is water?
    Mandrake: Good Lord!
Ripper: And as human beings, you and I need fresh, pure water to replenish our precious bodily fluids.
Mandrake: Yes. (he begins to chuckle nervously)
Ripper: Are you beginning to understand?
    Mandrake: Yes. (more laughter)
Ripper: Mandrake. Mandrake, have you never wondered why I drink only distilled water, or rainwater, and only pure-grain alcohol?
Mandrake: Well, it did occur to me, Jack, yes.
Ripper: Have you ever heard of a thing called fluoridation. Fluoridation of water?
Mandrake: Uh? Yes, I-I have heard of that, Jack, yes. Yes.
Ripper: Well, do you know what it is?
Mandrake: No, no I don't know what it is, no.
Ripper: Do you realize that fluoridation is the most monstrously conceived and dangerous Communist plot we have ever had to face?

Bloodletting was cutting edge science at one time and a consensus of doctors let the precious bodily fluids flow like wine. Ignorance indeed.

There are a couple problems with this article and your analysis.

    1) It is the international financiers who caused this problem. It is then kind of laughable that they are complaining about what they created.
    2) A good portion of these international financiers (in conjunction with national Oligarchs) are part of the USA Establishment - it is the Big money interests that dictate and/or influence domestic and foreign policy in the US.
    3) There are a few different clubs of international financiers and these compete with each other. El Saud is part of the US club - Russia is not. So while it is partially correct to say that Trump is owned by El Saud - the same can not be said of Putin.
    4) The idea that Trump leaving office will make a significant difference is misplaced. Trump - like those who came before him and those who will follow - is a servant of the Establishment international financiers.

"At one time" in which physicians were not scientists. On the social scale, physicians were just a notch over butchers. And well under the social prestige of barbers. There never was the scientific consensus you claim.

Yeah. Except you are talking about 17th century nonsense. I'm talking about 20th and 21st century nonsense. There are still weirdos now who believe this and deny the Science that debunks it.

Here's the good news. If the economy crashes we will just have to give less to all the rest of the world. But we will be fine. Keep pushing and see what happens.

The Saudis and Putin gave Clinton tens of millions of dollars. So no matter how much you wish your president was owned by someone, the sad fact is the only person who was in the pocket of those countries was your babe, Clinton.

Science and government, an age old issue.

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barber's_pole

During medieval times, barbers performed surgery on customers, as well as tooth extractions. The original pole had a brass wash basin at the top (representing the vessel in which leeches were kept) and bottom (representing the basin that received the blood). The pole itself represents the staff that the patient gripped during the procedure to encourage blood flow.[citation needed]

At the Council of Tours in 1163, the clergy was banned from the practice of surgery.[3] From then, physicians were clearly separated from the surgeons and barbers. Later, the role of the barbers was defined by the College de Saint-Côme et Saint-Damien, established by Jean Pitard in Paris circa 1210,[4] as academic surgeons of the long robe and barber surgeons of the short robe.

After the formation of the United Barber Surgeon's Company in England, a statute required the barber to use a blue and white pole and the surgeon to use a red pole. In France, surgeons used a red pole with a basin attached to identify their offices.

Actually,, Scence and Science denial is the age-old issue. It started when Science started: with Galileo. And then escalated. See flat earthers. See evolution, holocaust, HIV, asbestosis, .... deniers.
