The only BS is yours. You have no idea what you're talking about.
Cite one source that says they're moving production to China. One...source. You can't.

You and other libs make it clear they like money more than anything else and the morons running GM think they will find more of it in china than America

So thats where their loyalty will soon be if its not there already

China isn't telling any American company what to do. A childish remark. The cost of raw materials and tariffs are a major part of the problem and Trump won't back off because he is what he is. When you make an error, you back off. "pragmatism"
The tariffs have driven up the price of imported steel from all countries and not just China. GM may well be buying US steel but can't sustain itself due to the high costs. The name of the game is profits and not employment which remains intact as long as the company is very healthy.
A company will not put its business survival on the line to help America, because the company will run out of money to pay bills and
won't be able to meet the payroll and pay the benefits. The result is bankruptcy. Pretty simple equation, actually.

Yes he does. And ALL the msm will talk about is Cohen. President Trump is slowly turning this planet around and the left sees it coming. They are furious and scared; the fix has been in for a long time, and they don't want it to crumble away.

Which truck factories? None of the plants that were in the news build trucks. Trucks are selling very well. Cars are being discontinued: Chevrolet Cruze, Impala, & Volt, Buick LaCrosse, Cadillac XTS & CT6. Not a single truck affected.

Still waiting for you to cite your source, that GM is moving production to China, or planning to increase imports from China. Cite your source.

The point is still that the cars made in the US, are being made with metal that is expensive,... making the cars expensive. And therefor China doesn't need to put up a tariff at all against US cars.

Business is all about making money for the people who have invested their money in your enterprise unless it is all your money and then you can do anything you want with your money. Simply put, in the end, you won't have any money. What kind of work do you do? I am trying to get a handle on your thinking process. You have never had to meet a payroll, for sure.

So, in other words, you think you get to post bullsh*t unsubstantiated rumors, and everyone has to just believe you? Eff no. You know exactly nothing. They're closing three assembly plants in the U.S. and one in Canada. How many are staying open? In the U.S. ? Exactly nine, including Arlington, TX. Thats on top of more than a eleven stamping, engine, transmission and components plants, plus two dozen Tier One supplier plants that had multi year contracts to make part. You know exactly nothing.

GM has come a long way since “Engine” Charlie Wildon ran the company

In those days business leaders like Wilson were patriots who cared about America

You should do your own research,as that's from 2015. I already referenced the import of the Buick Envision, in post #75, and noted that sales of the Envision already dropped by at least 25%.
In fact, you responded in post #76.

What else ya got? Besides nothing.

Not only do you perform piss poor research, you're completely ignorant of what sells really well.
2017 Sales of The Chevrolet Suburban: 56.516
2017 Sales of the Chevrolet Tahoe: 98,961
2017 Sales of the GMC Yukon: 49,183
2017 Sales of The Cadillac Escalade: 22,994

Where are they built? Your back yard. Arlington Assembly Plant, Arlington, TX. Next year, GM starts production on redesigned versions of all three, at....guess where....wait a second....Arlington Assembly Plant. How long before the next redesign? Eight years.

    Aren't you a Texan, Buckwheat?

First a trickle and then the flood

In the past GM would be competing with itself

But now that the US factories are closed GM has no reason not to import more cars from china

Which I think they have been planning for a number of years

That doesn’t answer the question. If import tariffs aren’t a problem, then why did GM cite import tariffs as part of reason to close the Lordstown and Detroit plants?

Well, passenger cars do sell in far greater numbers such as the Chevy Cruze, in China than we do here. I don’t buy the line that US consumers are into SUVs and pickup trucks, since I don’t see Honda or Toyota making the same moves.
