And that should disqualify him from serving in high office or even better any government office. A President is elected to and sworn to uphold the Constitution not question it's validity. He is questioning the founding principles and wanting to make us more like other countries I presume. No, he needs to be sent home.

Beto O’Rourke Not Sure the Constitution Still Works

Most of the WaPo interview on Beto O’Rourke is a nonprescription sleep aid. O’Rourke thinks he maybe has something to say about immigration and the border but apart from opposing the wall he isn’t too sure what. He says things like “I don’t know” and “worth debating.” He equivocates on what to do about border security, about withdrawing troops from Syria, about the Green New Deal. He says “I don’t know what to do” in so many ways that you wonder why he bothered to give an interview. Apparently it went on for two hours. How many espressos reporter Jenna Johnson needed to ward off somnolence is unknown....

O’Rourke blathers on. It takes a moment for it to sink in that he isn’t sure the Constitution still works. “I’m hesitant to answer it because I really feel like it deserves its due, and I don’t want to give you a — actually, just selfishly, I don’t want a sound bite of it reported, but, yeah, I think that’s the question of the moment: Does this still work? Can an empire like ours with military presence in over 170 countries around the globe, with trading relationships…and security arrangements in every continent, can it still be managed by the same principles that were set down 230-plus years ago?” .........

It works every time it's tried. Our problem is all the corruption.

Is there any doubt at this point with a trator as President that the Constitution still protects America.

The answer is no, so they don't follow the constitution. Everyone just kinda looks the other way when SCOTUS rules the commerce clause gives the Feds the power to prevent a farmer from growing wheat for personal use.

Nobody cares that Congress has delegated the authority to declare war to the executive. It just sorts happened and nobody gave a **** so it stuck.

Acrually following the damn thing would require some changes. Article I S8 is a complete joke at the moment. 90% of the stuff Congress does is not listed.

The Constitution is failing to protect America - which is unfortunate.

Trump is succeeding in increasing the standard of living for all US citizens via economic growth resulting from tax reform, purging regulations which negatively affected the well being of US citizens, and unleashing the fossil fuel energy production capability of the US. Obamanomics acted in the exact opposite way.

To claim that Trump is a traitor is ludicrous. Stay away from the CNN/MSNBC cesspool and you will be able to think rationally.

No evidence whatsoever that Trump's policies have made any significant difference in the standard of living for anyone other than the already rich. There is no evidence that wages during Trump reign have increased significantly more than inflation.

And claiming that reducing environmental regulations has improved life for the average American is nonsense. Does make corporations more money but that is about all. And since the overwhelming majority of stocks are owned by the rich we can safely say like his corporate tax cuts this move was designed only to benefit the rich.

And the evidence is quite significant that Trump's attempts at destroying NATO his support of Brexit, and his announce withdrawal from Syria are all to the benefit of our enemies. But if you can provide any evidence of Trump moves to strengthen our alliances go for it.

The Trator [sic] is acting more constitutional then the last POTUS. You must not be familiar with the constitution.

Thank you for another evidence filled post. And being a traitor is a different issue. Trump has made many moves designed to weaken our alliances and destroy our leadership in the world. Attacking NATO and announcing withdrawal from Syria are only the most glaring. Perhaps unilaterally withdrawing from the Iran acvord also qualifies.

Repeating the same baseless idiocy will not give you credability. Perhaps try to disprove anything I said although that will be fruitless.

Gee, perhaps you can support where the left advocated destroying NATO orbwithdrawing from the Iran agreement.

Destroying NATO? We have the option to withdraw from NATO that has always been there. Let me know how successful NATO has been.

European wars, have slowed to a trickle. VERY strange for those parts, and, with the EXTERNAL enemy of Russia, there is even moar cohesiveness.

    Very! Thanks for asking.

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Formed in 1949 with the signing of the Washington Treaty, NATO is a security alliance of 28 countries from North America and Europe. NATO's fundamental goal is to safeguard the Allies' freedom and security by political and military means.

A statement isn't proof of anything but like the left usually does, thinking that saying words are action.

Sure. That is the mission of NATO. Sorry you don't recognize it. But feel free to demonstrate where that mission has not been fulfilled.

This airhead is in the difficult position of having to out-stupid the group of idiots that are running for the Democrat nomination.

Sounds stupid for him to say this, right.
    Think about it.
This lame person who doesn’t know his real name will expect to be elected as Pres using this same nonfunctional he calls it our constitution.
