Pats/Rams would be ideal for betting.

Chiefs/Saints would be ideal for betting.

Pats/Chiefs would be the most Classic. (But, impossible to bet).

Chiefs/Rams would be impossible to bet. (Even the Over/Under could be a stinker).

Pats win because of offside call made by refs late in the game which erased critical turnover.

Say, what happened to that thread where certain deluded right wingers claimed NFL was getting effete as a team hired a male cheer leader? They claimed that this was done due to left wing political correctness.

Remember how I pointed out that the guy had been hired by a Republican team ownership and the right wing critics clammed up after I revealed that TRUTH. Not that I want to politicize this thread, just that I cannot seem to find that thread ATM.

Just like with any internet forum, threads are deleted from time to time

    It happens.

    As far as the Patriots.

The game opened as Rams -1.5 Faves.

Sharps have pounded the Pats and the line has shifted to Pats -2 at several shops.

That no-call interference (that cost the Saints a shot at the SB) could be the worst missed call of all time.

Plus the offside call (a marginal error at most which is often disregarded by refs) also reversed what would have been a game winning interception. As always, the Pats and BelCHEAT have the referees in their pockets and that's why I say they will "win" the Super Bowl.

The NFL obviously needs tweak the replay rules to allow blatant no-calls to be reversed.

This is wrong on so many levels. The whole point of a 'no call' is to let them play. If you review no calls as well as calls..the games will last 6 hours.

Every single play there's a "THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN HOLDING!" or "PASS INTERFERENCE!" or "HE LINED UP OFFSIDES!". Every single play.

If you want all of these missed calls to be reviewed, overturned, and then spotted...good luck. I will not watch football anymore. The games will never end.

    I'd rather a no-call than a stupid call.

I think that are discussing only pass interference being reviewable.

    Not all penalties.

This game is already lame enough. Now they want to review plays that are never supposed to be reviewed? Anything is a no-call unless it's called...which is the whole point.

I hate the retards that are trying to ruin football.

    I hearya, bro'.

I guess there was something about the "magnitude" of the call in the Saints game (how it affected "legacies", etc.) that got their attention.

Leave it to Goodell to try and appease the butthurt Saints fans. Missed calls happen EVERY play of EVERY game. It's just how it is.

This will really come back to bite saints fans. Ruining the NFL regulations isn't worth revenge over one missed call.

    Exactly.

Why did the Saints D let the Rams march down so easy for the tying FG?

Then, Drew wins the toss and throws a pick.

Yep. They had every opportunity to get back at the refs for the missed call....by doing their job...which the Saints failed to do.

As bad as I feel for them not getting the 15 yard penalty and first down....they had plenty of chances to WIN after that.

They didn't do their job. That's on them...not the refs.

I hope the NFL isn't stupid enough to give into this absolute nonsense.

    Yup.

    Too many IFs.

They didn't handle their own biz.

    Cry me a river.

It's frustrating. The Saints fans are trying to justify their loss by ONE missed call...as if they didn't have 60 minutes to win the entire game...

Now they want the NFL to further self destruct? **** no. Saints fans should not be able to ruin what's left of the NFL because they suck

    The thing of it is:

Even IF they get the call there is no guarantee that they would've scored.

Coulda been a red zone turnover, a missed FG, etc.

All they had to do was stop Goff, but the D gave him some big plays.

Then Drew craps the bed in OT.

Yup. People always say "If our team would have gotten (X) call, we would have won!". Wrong. Your QB could have fumbled the next snap, or your RB could have dropped the hand off and turned the ball over...(insert infinite amount of scenarios here). The saints were going to lose this game because they gave up on too many plays.
