The Covington Kids yes those young men, who didn't do anything wrong and did a great deal that was right, and performed a singular and salutary service (more about that shortly) into the bargain. They were there to protest for life as is their right under the constitution. Some of them were wearing MAGA hats which is also their right under the constitution. They were verbally abused and insulted grossly by a group referring to themselves as the Hebrew Israelites. The four men, note the name of the group itself, ontologically redundant, as it is, should tell you something about who they are and the level of seriousness they are owed in any sort of rational debate, began by hurling insults at the native Americans on the scene protesting for open borders, the then turned there attention to the Catholic school boys. At which point Mr. Phillips walked over to the Catholic school boys and got in their faces with his ceremonial drum. It is this last few seconds that went viral. And the all hell broke loose. The Twitter verse, as usual, went off half cocked and wholly uninformed, death threats forced the school to close for the day, leftist pundits called for the kids, who, I repeat, had done nothing wrong, to be expelled if not drawn and quartered, other leftist savages called for the kids to be murdered along with their parents. Mr. Phllips, along with no small number of Alphabet soup media pundits, demonstrated that his primary tribal affiliation was to the Hokum and Bunkum, a ubiquitous Tribe with representatives among every nation and every people on the face of the planet and at all points of human history. Oh and that singular and salutary service those kids performed was to reveal for once and for all that the the socialist left has now descended from intellectual smugness into religious zealotry and become a danger to all who will not kowtow to their shibboleths, their extremely noxious shibboleths.

Exactly so. And it wasn't just celebrities either. And the young man's sin was smiling in what appeared to me a some what bemused manner.
The thing that is wrong with this situation is these kids seem upset and bothered by what happened. Do they not realize they were accosted by nincompoops? Do they realize there is no reason to take hollywood, the media, or other left wingers serious? I found out where a local lefty protest was going on and went on down with a megaphone. I heckled those idiots. Great fun.

I haven't seen an actual thread to for the Savannah Guthrie interview, but I suppose this will suffice. Ms Guthrie actually interviewed one of the HS kids. During the interview, she asked if he wanted to apologize or otherwise take responsibility for his own questionable behavior. Really? Like what? Turns out that Savannah is either a) blond and all that entails... or b) purposefully shilling hate. And why is that Savannah? Why does 'Merika's' little newsie need to demonstrate that she can bully a HS kid in an interview? You can clearly see how her question made the HS kid uncomfortable, and likely the "gotcha" question wasn't prepped and Savannah was simply trying to ambush a minor here. Laudable? Hardly. And instead of holding our "feeble Vietnam Vet" accountable for the plethora of lies that he actually sold to the MSM like Savannah, we aren't seeing a teary eyed agitator on screen. We're seeing victim shaming from none other than 'Merika's little newsie" Savannah. Cause what doesn't make early morning TV better like the victim shaming of minors, or the character assassination she perpetrated on him? Isn't it the fresh faced catholic HS kid the new version of acceptable racism and misandry that ms Savannah really wants to fuel here? I recall that the left uniformely tried to shield that wacka do from FL from ever having to answer emasculating questions like this, but... this one... he's "catholic, and all that entails"... And isn't that what smarmy liberalism is driving at these days? Fueling the war, just a little harder from Savannah fanning the flames of leftist racist bigotry.
Having one's face described as punchable, seeing people offering money and sex favors for violence against you, suggesting that you be locked inside your school and then have it blown up, in fora viewed by hundreds of millions of people, 5-10% of whom are verifiably insane, would indeed bully some commiserating and deescalating language out of the victims. I suspect this "upset and bother" was on advice of counsel, and will be replaced soon enough, when the threats blow over, with a very different posture. Stay tuned!
Shouldn't they be upset with the death threats? They closed the school for threats of shooting it up and one family had to move. The left doxxed these kids.

Yeah, she and her network are not exactly in the catbird seat after that interview. SHE may actually be the most hated person in the U.S. today, not MAGA Sandmann LOL. There is a possibility of major ****ery in the PR the parents hired, but for now, it was a wise decision to go on national news instead of Fox or other more friendly outlets during the defusing danger phase. This is also the "big bags of money in exchange for doing exactly what we want you to do... and silence" stage, so watch out for signs of that too. If the kids end up declining WH invitations, aren't seen on Fox or other nonleft media, we will know the LW PR ****ery is real in a similar way Seth Rich's family were conned by the Complex.
Perhaps we'll find that you're right. The best part is we actually have a record of this bias, and malfeasance from Savannah. These are the kinds of questions you just don't expose kids to for any number of legal reasons. But the bloom is off the rose so to speak where ms Savannah is concerned. One hopes that her performance today leads to her dismissal and that her bullying and misandry cannot effect any more at risk children in our nation......
How fortunate the sane American people are that they had the ability to view more than the few seconds edited and manipulated by leftie media and twitter and were allowed to see the fake outrage projected by those very bitter alt-lefites who after been proven wrong on so many fronts, still cling to their original beliefs even though dozens of far leftie media outlets have removed their twitter and facebook posts concerning this non-event and cease to bring this engineered story back to life. TDS is a wonderful thing to watch.
Sadly it has gone beyond merely smarmy it is now full blown verbal assault. I've caught bits and pieces of Mz, Savannah's interview, no pretense at fairness and objectivity for her no pretending to determine the truth just out right character assassination from the very start. It is clear that in her mind wearing a MAGA hat requires an apology. I would have loved to swap place with that young man for a few minutes. Apologize, Mz. Savannah? For what? Trying to avoid violence? Minding my own business on a public street and being accosted by a bunch nutcases? For wearing my political views on my hat? Apologize? Sorry the only here owed an apology is me and my classmates and you and the rest of the alphabet soup media and most of the twitter verse are the one's that owe it.
