California State Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson announced last week that only “gender neutral” pronouns would be allowed during Senate Judiciary Committee hearings–banning words like “he” and “she” in favor of “they.”

However, mere moments after her announcement, Jackson broke her own rules.

Speech codes. That even they don't follow.

In Canada, this has the power of law behind it, and one can be jailed for refusing to use certain language.

The point I'm making is that this is something that social conservatives have been doing since the early church days. Yet when a social liberal does it, you act like it's the newest thing under the sun.

Im not sure how intelligent she is to break the rules she herself implemented.

What if I'm offended if she called me they rather than he or him? Same thing if they referred to my wife or son as they. Liberals, for some reason, seem to enjoy ignoring the large majority of people only to cater to the insignificant few, and those would be the nutjobs among us.

This all started when cavemen called both males and females "Ugg" This became awkward at parties, so they invented more words.

Imagine trying to describe a robbery suspect to the police without referencing traits people are sensitive about. They was a human of undisclosed, race, weight, height, they went that way.

Also, the term "they" is offensive to those with multiple personality disorder.

 

This is just goofy. I have no problem with identifying people by their preferred pronoun if they express a preference, but banning gender specific pronouns is odd.

 

In Canada, they will imprison people for the same.

This isn't just odd, its about control.

 

I've wondered a time or two if these attempts to compel/prohibit the use of certain words surrounding identity are merely another tool to use against conservatives... or normal people in general. Sometimes I suspect they know precisely how batshit crazy this whole pronoun thing is (and the snowflakes who're melting over words), but having the power to control is just too much to resist.

 

Its entirely about control.
