A perfect example of racism on the left. This person does nothing but display their hatred for white men. And no this isn't a discussion point to a bigger argument its simple racism generalizing all white men thinking the same thing and having the same merit.

When you ask a question at a lecture, is it secretly just your opinion ending with the phrase “do you agree?” If so, your name is something like Jake, or Chad, or Alex, and you were taught that your voice is the most important in every room. Somewhere along your academic journey, you decided your search for intellectual validation was more important than the actual exchange of information. Now how do you expect to actually learn anything?

So, I fail to see how it qualifies as a "Current Event".

White Boys can talk all they want.

As long as they don't yell "Fire!" in a crowded theater or scream the N-Word in Harlem.

This is a racist student writing an opinion piece that both the non-university publishers and the university itself have said they do not endorse or agree with.

When I was in college, I was in a psychology class where I had a black guy and a black girl sitting behind me. They talked throughout the class so I could not hear the professor. This went in for weeks. I finally said, "Please be quiet". You would have thought I had just put on a Klan hood. The girl said (very loudly), "Did you hear what that white boy said to me?", hoping her male friend was going to "get" me. He did nothing; I was twice his size.
