I think this is part of Fox's marketing strategy. Fox, as just about everyone knows, spends 22 out of 24 hours every day being the television branch of Trump's ministry of propoganda. But, in order to maintain some sort of thin claim to relevance, it needs to acknowledge the truth every once in a while.
I thought Wallace asked fair, tough questions in both interviews, and Miller & Limbaugh both hit it out of the park with their answers. It was tv worth watching. Juxtapose that with the 60 Minutes Scott Pelley softball interview with McCabe last night. MAJOR FAIL! Never axed McCabe what the "insurance policy" was that was discussed in his office behind closed doors with the other traitors. No follow up when McCabe lied about lying to the FBI. It's as tho Pelley has no idea what has been going on the last 3 years, and did no prep. Pelley committed a common sin of the left media. That's the sin of omission. Sheesh ... Just smh ... For what that was worth I shoulda just watched the finish of the Daytona 500.

These pieces from outfits like the BS artists at the Hill are great entertainment. My guess is they, like the rest in the media, bank on the gullibility and intellectual vacancy of a large part of their audience. Notice how the Hill doesn't identify the issues that were at play regarding Limbaugh's opposition to Obama's actions, versus that of President Trump's. This journalistic trick captures people with simple minded confirmation bias, but leaving out details objective thinking people are capable of seeing. In the case of Miller, again, no context is given, but the fraudsters and the Hill don't want readers to know that anyway. There are examples every year of a President using emergency powers to secure funding previously denied to him by Congress. Consider FEMA funding. Congress passes a budget that may or may not be what the President has asked for. A declaration of National Emergency in the face of a Natural Disaster brings forth additional funding denied to the President by Congress. One thing that should be remembered, Wallace said this when confronted with a legitimate point: "You know, the joy of this is I get to ask you questions," Wallace said. "You don’t get to ask me."
False on both counts. Stephen Miller could not come up with an example of an American president trying to usurp power by emegency declaration just becasue he didn't get his way in Congress. Which is all this is. It is primarily one of Trump's idiotic stunts, aimed at his idiotic and gullible base. Trump not only lost his battle over the imaginary "wall", he lost it decively. It was the biggest presidential legislative defeat since Hillarycare collapsed in 1993. And the loss was the direct result of Trump's bungling and failure as an negotiator. But Trump was busy waving a new shiny object in front of the talk radio trolls, the threat of an emergency declaration. People who take politics and their government seriously were horrified. Here was the most reckless and irresponsible person ever to hold elected office in this country boasting about setting off a constitutional crisis because he bungled his wall fight. His base thinks this is game, a television show. So does Trump, whose understanding of the world is on a high school level. All he cares about is how he looks on TV to his talk radio base The Constitution doessn't matter to him. Democracy is an inconvenience to him. And the legitimacy and power of his office don't matter to him (at least judging by the way he has frittered it away by turning the bully pulpit into the BS pulpit, as he did last Friday.

Chris Wallace has ALWAYS been one of the best interviewers on TV for several years now precisely because he goes after EVERYONE. He isn't a sycophant like O'Reilly, Hannity, Don Lemon, Chris Mathews or Rachel Maddow. You clearly have never watched him and are only getting your info about him from talking points.
It is the job of journalists to ask questions. Which questions, in the conversation with Miller, demonstrate his TDS?

Excellent point, there is a world of difference between the excellent interviewing over at Fox, and that of the libeal media. CBS should be ashamed of itself with those softballs....
I understand. I don't dislike Chris Wallace. But this type of stuff keeps me from thinking more highly of him.
