Not all poor women have access to pre-birth ultrasounds or screening. They may not even know that the child has microcephaly or unformed spinal column or other fatal complications. Women can develop severe gestational diabetes, and/or heart problems in the final 3 months that make delivery of the fetus untenable. Every dime you spend on fighting abortion could be spent fighting the lack of diagnostic pre-natal clinics in poor areas of this country.
