cerberus seems to believe that all the world's scientists are working in concert to promote fake science so that they can stay on the research gravy train. They will not contradict a fellow scientist for fear that the whole house of cards will come crashing around their ears. This was apparently even the case during the cold war when the West and the Warsaw Pact were at each others throats all over the world - the scientists would still refuse to contradict each other.

This leads me to conclude that:
    • cerberus doesn't know how little gravy there is on the theoretical physics gravy train
    • cerberus hasn't met many scientists and doesn't understand that their second favourite thing is finding something new to which they can attach their name.....
    • .....and that their favourite thing is finding some flaw in a rival's work which damages that rival's prestige

Now hear this - cerberus has always had, and always will have the greatest respect for scientists. Now, make of that what you will??

And in a nutshell - that's precisely what it's all about.

Go back to fantasizing, you're obviously more knowledgeable on that subject.

They use an external force to return a particle to a previous state, if you assume that external force is energy of some form (Which it must be) then this system suffers entropy and is not time travel.

I am not aware of the Uncertainty Principle being applicable to time. It is normally relevant to particle aspects (location and momentum/vector).

The only reports of "real" time travel experience that I am aware of were from gov't remote viewing sessions. The viewing of a target location revealed a building that was not yet in existence. Several years later it was built there.

Somewhere in the literature on telepathic phenomena there are reports of a miniscule advanced time in perception and announcement of what is on cards marked one or the other of two ways as they are about to be turned face up and identified (or something like that).

Time is said to have a concurrent layout as well as a sequential manifestation. Time travel is a speculative possibility, but we shouldn't anticipate that kind of liberty, since we can't seem to refrain from making such a mess of ordinary existence.

I'm sure that members of the 'science industry' have some kind of monthly draw to compete for whoever can dream up the most ridiculous theory. I vote that this reversing time one should be nominated winner of the year. No, make than winner of the century.

Watching you agree with each other makes so much sense.

Maybe you can help him with his maths as he has a problem with getting units to match, his equations run along the lines of

speed * time = fish or distance / time = green

    Good luck.

Maybe if you could provide a single fact, just one, that would help?

I'll see if I can think of one for you, how's that? Anything to oblige. [IMG]

Fancy that - so am I, in the field of medical science. Yes, I'm a brain surgeon. :roflol:
