Lol, this is why I said you guys could use some inter-parliamentary Ranked Voting.

Its sounds to me as if your legislators have considered all the different options you don't want to go forward with...
(pretty much all of them), but haven't quite figured out which among those they don't want the least.
I mean, bottom line is one of the options has to be picked, there's no way around that, and yes,
continuing on in the current state of uncertainty is an option as well, but is it the most desired? (read, least undesired)...

A Ranked Vote would quickly clear up stuff like this. If those parliament folk continue to have trouble coming to a decision then they really ought to give the idea of changing up their decision making process some serious thought...

    Exactly!
And that seems to be a large part of the problem here.

well....yeah......if they knew what the other side would agree to. The issue is its okay for the nut jobs in the house of parliament to natter on about their pipe dreams of this deal and that deal and this backstop and that backstop but if the lads in Brussels give their gallic shrug and utter non....then its all a load of bollocks! I mean our MP's are as mad as a bag of snakes and sit around wittering on about they want, however, its actually about what the continentals will actually give!

But on your voting proposal, I would agree but with a slight amendment in that most popular deal chosen should be taken to Brussels and for its proponent to demand trial by combat with the EU representative. Free choice of weapons....gouging permitted....I would suggest Sandor Clagane as our stand-in.....let them batter seven bells out of each other and winner takes all!

Wrong belief ... in case of trade you can't negotiate with Ireland alone, you have to negotiate with Brussels!

And in matter of border question you could do, because neither you, nor Ireland agreed to Schengen agreement and signed it ... but IF ... yes IF there wasn't this Peace agreement for Ireland and Northern Ireland called "Good Friday Agreement, Belfast Agreement oder Stormont Agreement".

well yeah....this is where I get confused....because our lads and ladesses in the HofP can sit and blarney their way through their Brandy and deserts but the blokes in Brussels can just tell them to leck' mich am Arsch so to speak and....and....well it all starts again

There are four votes this evening:

    1. A motion brought by the independent group of MPs to delay Brexit to hold a second referendum
    - bound to fail because it's opposed by the Conservatives and DUP and Labour have indicated that they will abstain

    2. A cross party amendment to carry out a series of indicative votes so that MPs can express their preferences for different courses of action
    - Likely to fail, but even if it succeeds we have no idea what MPs will be asked to express a preference on or when
    - We've already seen, no course of action can get 50% support in any case

    3. Labour amendment to extend article 50 and reject Theresa May's deal
    - Will fail because those Conservatives that hate the deal, hate Labour more and some Labour Brexiteers will refuse to extend article 50

    4. Amendment to prevent Theresa May presenting the same deal - again
    - Will fail because it's a Labour amendment and those Conservatives that hate the deal, hate Labour more

So we'll be another day along, no mandate from parliament to delay article 50 (even if the EU agrees) and another day nearer to no-deal

If the traitors can't get their way by fair means, they'll get it by foul? And they're going all-out at exactly that?

Sure ... of course the EU Council ... so the government representatives of the 27 member states ... can do at any time... and only they decide here, no Tusk or Juncker alone etc.!
And let's be honest ... why should one do an extension on the part of the EU here?
Will anything change significantly with you during this time, suggesting that you British are finally able to say what you want by a majority?

So far, only what you do not want comes and there is only a majority for you that you have no majority for anything!

    The negotiated agreement? No
    A No Deal Brexit? No
    Elections? No
    A 2nd referendum? No

When it comes to granting a grace period for the No Deal Brexit is not ending in chaos among you and us ... and let the No Deal Brexit be reasonable and prepared happen on both sides ... OK, I agree with that as an extension reason!

I know its a complete joke!
This is the issue when politicians take charge which is exactly the reason I am for small government...the massive governmental behemoth of the UK and indeed the EU are exactly what I think needs to be changed.
We just need to leave...thank you for having us...however, its time to go.
Deal or no deal...preferably no deal that includes this absurd Irish backstop...so hopefully "No Deal" and WTO rules etc. etc.

The politicians are just reflecting the will of the British people:

Support for remain somewhere in the 45-55% range

About 30-40% of people prepared to take a no deal

About 25-35% of people prepared to take Theresa May's deal

IMO most of the people looking forward to WTO rules, don't understand WTO rules and the impact they are likely to have - as always, I could be wrong.

I can imagine whole slews of people not understanding them, me included, but so what? The concept isn’t difficult. Most people didn’t understand the concept of banking but still have a bank account. Economies find balance following an event of this kind; an equilibrium is achieved over time. Most pundits are scaremongering based on short term assessments of models that are not stress tested in this kind of scenario because it has never happened before. The same as the packaging of CDOs and the like that caused a seismic shift in the banking world, however, the economies found equilibrium.

I'd take an educated guess, and still probably not be right.

    So... UK's leaving in July?

Nigel Farage is marching down from Sunderland (other side of England) and wants to be in London by the end of March on so-called Brexit Day.

I have no idea what these votes mean but I think we voted for no no deal and the EU was like 'that's not a deal maker'.

They're not, with the exception of the ERG they're reflecting and promoting their own will.

You're kidding! The ERG is a small minority within the Conservatives trying (and maybe succeeding) to impose their views to the whole Party, the majority of which doesn't want to leave with no-deal. Although they know that leaving the EU would mean a more to the right government, and therefor, would prefer Remain, the Labour MPs don't dare to upset Corbyn who is against EU (and against USA, against NATO, against Israël, but wouldn't ever dream of even starting to criticize Maduro).

A 'small minority' of patriots has more integrity than a vast majority of traitors.

Hopefully, you are fully aware of what a "No Deal Brexit with WTO Rules" means to you British and what consequences this has for you in the UK itself?
Suddenly are with Inakrefttreten and expiration of the deadline ...

    a) all articles that you export to the EU are subject to tariffs! You are no longer part of the EU common market, there is no customs union and there is no agreement that excludes that ... so, no deal = WTO rules! And that affects 40% of your total export volume!
    b) Important imports to you in the UK can*t happen anymore, because the agreements and approvals according to your law are no longer valid, or just as the export to the EU is no longer allowed. For example, about 90% of the insulin you need, what comes from the EU, or even important isotopes in the cancer cure come to 100% from the EU ... simply because there is "no deal" and WTO does not cover !

And these are just 2 examples of many things ...
