I was mistaken, the "little content" you added has has moved the needle into being kicked out of snarkville (M3). Reread my quote.

    What's to understand?
You made no attempt to mention a shred of science. I dont give a **** about your opinion

It is dependent on a body to develop...until the. It is not anything.

Dependency has nothing to do with being or not being part of her body.

"It is not anything", ......now that's some ****in'-A impressive science right there

    You NEVER answered the question:

IF the fetus is not part of the woman's body why can't it be taken out and set on a shelf to grow on it's own.

Dependency has been discussed. Where you been?

If a tapeworm is not part of a womans body, why can't it be taken out, placed on a shelf and grow on its own? Silly huh?

Dependency has zero to do with being or not being part of the womans body. Why don't you try some actual science to demonstrate "part of the mother's body"?

    I never discussed "dependency".

    You NEVER answered the question:

IF the fetus is not part of the woman's body why can't it be taken out and set on a shelf to grow on it's own.

Why don't you "try some science" by backing up your claim that a fetus is not part of a woman's body. You never have. And YOU made the initial claim.

You don't seem to know that women do not conceive tapeworms…...they are an invasion in her body.

They are attached to her body. They are hers. They cannot be set on a shelf to grow on their own.

SAME for a fetus....AND , like a fetus, she has every right to remove them :)

I'm sure you won't believe the following, it's only from the Mayo Clinic and doctors and scientists have written it:

"""The placenta is an organ that develops in your uterus during pregnancy. This structure provides oxygen and nutrients to your growing baby and removes waste products from your baby's blood. The placenta attaches to the wall of your uterus, and your baby's umbilical cord arises from it. The organ is usually attached to the top, side, front or back of the uterus. In rare cases, the placenta might attach in the lower uterine region (placenta previa).""""

Clearly indicates the fetus is part of the woman's body.

If you think it isn't that's on you but your opinion doesn't change a thing.....abortion is legal....and women retain the right to their own bodies..:)

I just answered. Dependency is nongermane to the discussion of "part of the womans body".
Just as a tapeworm, totally dependent on the woman, is not part of her body.

    what does that matter

    A=/=B

    Dependency is not a criteria

Clearly this makes no claim that the fetal/placental unit is part of her body.
Your interpretation is cute but has zero scientific basis.

You can't argue with squidward's logic here, it is impeccable.

Too bad, YOU don't make the rules.

The fetus cannot grow if it isn't attached to the woman's body, making it part of her body.

IF it wasn't part of her body she has all the more reason to be able to have it removed :)

So either way, YOU lose :)

And you have yet to demonstrate scientifically why this establishes the fetus as part of her body.
You gonna pull out some real science or are you going to continue with the simpleton grade school arguments of "attached" and "dependent" to establish your claim?

I think we've already established in another thread that "attached" does not mean part of her body:
Is this baby part of the woman's body?

Every cell in her body has a distinct genetic make up. Not a single cell in the baby's body has the same genetic make up as any cell in the mother's body. It is definitively not part of the mother's body.

No, you do not own the sperm you ejaculate, you don't own the piss you piss, and you don't own the sh** you sh**. Or else our sewer system are full of lost private property.

The courts have held that a woman still owns her eggs even if they're removed from her body.

The male, if he didn't sell it to who, gave it to her. No longer has ownership.

I doubt he expected it back.

Bet he didn't expect his fetus to be aborted either.

Women are born with all the eggs they are ever have and only have about 200-300 and lose them over time. Older women have very few eggs to work with. One can argue that since it is such a limited item, that women can claim ownership over an egg. If you are a guy with a serious erectile dysfunction problem, and you get one out, then we'll let you own it.

Once the egg leaves the womens body, if she hasn't sold it/them. They are no longer hers either.
She let them leave her body voluntarily. Just like a guy who let his sperm leave voluntarily.

Please provide credible documented factual evidence that a man can become pregnant and bring "his fetus" to term.

I didn't want to use the term "his child" because Pro-Choicers would take issue with that, so I used "fetus" to avoid bringing up that argument.
    His child is inside her.

How do you define "give away" ?
We're not back to the 'inside his/her body' argument, are we?
