Not only Omar refuse to condemn stoning of gays .. Some other Arab Muslim countries torture and kill them.
In Palesh-tinian Gaza ( those some of you support ) they push them from roof tops !!

She has had no problem endorsing marriage equality and gay civil rights and opposing transgender bans and gay conversion therapy. According the Human Rights Commission she was an active voice for equality in the Minnesota Legislature , but she refuses to condemn stoning them because she is Muslim. This story you are trying to sell, makes so much sense.

Guys, this thread is dead. The entire premise around it has been debunked. If anything, this woman is proof positive that Muslims are not uniform in their views on Homosexuality or any other issue and that when Muslims immigrate into a culture, their values and beliefs can adapt and change from what predominated where they emigrated from. They are like any other immigrant population coming to our shores. They change. they adapt. They learn. How quickly and fully they incorporate their ethnic and cultural identity into their sense of their new American identity is individual.

Remember, you said that the Bible says:
Then I asked you where in the Bible it says this. Then you quoted Matthew 3:10. Are you saying that Matthew 3:10 directs people today to "kill anybody that doesn't believe the same as you" even if Christians saw it as an analogy for killing?

Omar has the support of David Duke and it's a non-story. I wonder why?

Ok, does the koran say explicitly to do the things that islamic terrorists do? But, in hte end, everything is justified by anything in the bible or koran.

Of course. @Etbauer was talking about murder for being a non-believer, as in the case of radical Islam.

Well it says to kill non-believers according to one popular interpretation.

What the hell are you talking about?

Sure, but that's where the similarities end.

Again, are you saying that Matthew 3:10 (or anywhere else in the Bible) directs people today to "kill anybody that doesn't believe the same as you" even if Christians saw it as an analogy for killing?

    Utterly Ridiculous.

    Daily Wire?:roflol:

"If you don't call us back we will assume that you have committed mass murder".:roflol:

    What a joke.

So you've gone from saying that 1 Samuel 15 directs believers to kill non-believers, to saying that Christians "have used their god's name to justify horrible atrocities committed upon their neighbors." How are the two connected exactly?

I'm saying that it says to kill nonbelievers as much as anything in the koran does. Not that the koran is good, just that religion causes terrorism.

Okay, so again, where does the Bible say to kill non-believers?

Does it include the word "non-believer?"

Well if you say that it says that people are to kill non-believers, then don't you think that it might help your argument if it actually includes the word "non-believer?"

Yes, it falls in the same category as the inquisition, where people used religion as an excuse to persecute people. The Bible did not instruct them do torture and kill people, they did it on their own.
