See, I noticed you failed to quote the complete sentence refused to quote the qualifier to that sentence: "Considering the press has appointed itself Trump's enemy as opposed to simply reporting the truth - which is not necessarily the same thing as there's a difference in motivation there - ... " Allow me to rephrase the meaning. There is nothing wrong in reporting that Trump was wrong when he says something that is incorrect. That is reporting the news. This assumes that the news media is coming to the plate with every story with a neutral intent, is what he said true or not? In that case, the motivation is perfectly fine. Trump DOES have a problem there. But what we have is a press which has already decided that what Trump says is wrong, then reports from that schema against Trump. It even frames what he did as wrong even when he did nothing that was wrong. In that case, the reason why the press does what it does is incorrect. I like using the Koi Fish story as an example because it's funny and yet illustrates where the press is coming from when it comes to how they decide to frame a story. So while I have no problem with the press calling out Trump when he does something wrong, I DO have a problem with the press deciding Trump is wrong every time THEN writing a story on Trump. This is a nuance you've failed to appreciate.
Hmm... NO. It won't be Trump's entire strategy by a mile. And YES, it will be a part of the strategy to make sure that TDS left and their subservient MSM end up paying way more than they bargained for when they concocted the Russia collusion hoax and started an illegal, subversive unamerican witch hunt on false pretenses. Your worries are NOT misplaced, they are fully justified.
He will run on the great economy and the building of the wall as well as his upturning of the judicial system with all of his conservative picks. Should be a really strong campaign. The left will definitely need a superstar to bring him down.
