Profiling does work. Hispanics are on average slightly higher than Caucasians which are slightly higher than Asians by population percentage. Blacks though — definitely a statical outlier. If we are moving into this anti socialism everyone must protect themselves and build their own roads and discrimination is rampant we might as well make everyone as miserable as possible. Whites commit the largest number financial crimes so they don’t get to work in financial industries anymore either. Sorry

It’s cute, y’all think y’all will trap me in an inconsistency. Try again.

This is going to lead to shop owners shooting people since they'll have to resort to self help and its literally going to be open season on stealing **** from stores.

    I appreciate that, thank you.

But back to the "big government" idea you brought up in a previous post: The understanding between property owners and the government is that the government would attempt to protect property rights and the property owners would refrain from vigilante justice. If the government drops their end of the bargain, the property owner should have every right to drop their end of the bargain. So, I don't think this is so much about conservatives wanting big government.

Are you arguing that conservatives support law and order for everyone and liberals support free food for everyone and that these are simply social programs?

I am arguing that conservatives like programs that benefit them or conservative causes that benefit the few but do not support programs that would help all Americans.

So I'm asking you...is law and order a "program" that conservatives want?

Would he rather have store owners and private individuals protect what they own? I hope he knows that people will be killed for stealing after the DA condoned it. Right? Is that what liberals want?

I suppose that is what they want so they can blame conservatives or blame their guns.

Are AMERICAN shop owners helped by the DA allowing people to steal from them?

Depends, maybe their non socialist paid private mercenaries would do a better job and reduce their overall losses

    Who knows

Are the criminals killed by people protecting their property better off? Why is it good to encourage thievery and vigilantism? That's what the da is doing.

In some instances they do. In others they don’t.

Why do conservatives not want to do what Jesus commanded; feed the hungry, heal the sick, clothe the poor, being mostly religious?

They seem to give to charity, like way more than liberals do. They don’t like having it forced upon them at the point of a gun(the government).

As usual the rightwing OMIT the RELEVANT detail!

In other words if you steal formula to feed your baby you won't be prosecuted.

But if you steal a phone you will still be prosecuted.

So they'll steal diapers, formula, laundry detergent, etc... and sell them for the cash to buy a cell phone.

These sorts of shoplifted goods black markets already exist, and the shoplifting amnesty laws would just see them expanded into cottage industries.

Again we see the soft racism and of the left. They assume the poors are too dumb to figure out how to game their "leniency and charity" systems.

Wow; he's really helping the thieves out by clarifying what they can steal. If the thieves get lucky, he'll publish an itemized list of exactly which items they can steal, consequence free. They can take this list to the store and use it as a "shopping," list. Then just holler at the cashier on their way out - "It's under $750 and it's all on the DAs list of "approved to steal," items."

I support this law. It will push business owners into simply shooting these criminal felons dead. That's better than prison.

Hopefully it culls a large percentage of these thugs.

    Kudos to Dallas.

The problem is not that he doesn't want prosecute petty theft, the problem is that he made it public.

Shop owners will no longer stock those items and probably donate whatever stock they do have to local food pantries.

    Problem solved!

Just because the da won’t prosecute doesn’t mean that a store can’t protect his property. I’ll no bill him all day, but their blood will be on the hands of you and the da.

Meaning grocery stores will go out of business. The DA has said, "You can have all the food for free!" Why would anyone open up a grocery store when they know ahead of time that they will get no protection from thieves for almost everything they sell.

Charity is great, but if I can't sell anything, I can't make any money, which means I have no money to buy food to donate.

Does anyone from TX ever stop and read what they are posting?

Why is the "solution" to EVERY problem ALWAYS a gun?

What kind of person believes that a petty thief deserves the DEATH PENALTY?
