Typically those killing each other are violent felons. These type of people don't exist in substantial numbers in Republican communities. The most dangerous places in Wisconsin are of course Democratic and the murder rates are about 10 times higher (or more) there than in the Republican areas. This is a problem mostly for Democratic areas. Why punish safe law abiding Republican communities because lawless Democrat communities can't keep from slaughtering each other? You created the communities you wanted..... and you still want to blame other people for your dysfunction?

Oh, this is just not so: "These type of people don't exist in substantial numbers in Republican communities."

Where there is meth, there is death, and where there are Republicans, there is meth death.

So should cops also shoot every armed black felon they stop? Or just white armed felons?

Your emotions are causing brain bleed.

I am not a republican and know that there is no such thing as a gun show loophole. Every felon who wants a gun has one already. Gun laws only create easy victims for these criminals. Both parties have damaged second amendment rights. The left just causes more damage than the right.

If they had only arrested him for stopping illegals, he would have walked.

But, it sounds like he was arrested for being an armed felon, which is against the law.

Back in the day it was SOP to shoot all fleeing felons, usually in the back.

    Rule of thumb:
If you are a felon and can't run faster the 1.500 feet per second...don't try to outrun a piece of lead and copper traveling at 1,000 feet per second.

Sure they do. They live in Republican communities and commit their crimes in Democratic communities because Republicans defend the rights of felons to obtain firearms. Criminals buy firearms in god-fearing Republican states and transport them to where they commit their crimes. So, yes, I blame Republicans for feeding the slaughter. Republicans will do anything for a buck and the firearms industry has lots of bucks.

    I concur.

And they made all of those bucks under Obama for eight years.

More guns were sold in the private sector during the eight years of the Obama administration than any time in America's history.

Barack Obama was the best guns salesman in history.

Just not in the private sector but also with the drug cartels (Operation Fast and Furious) and arming Al Qaeda in Libya and Syria and Obama's JV Team (ISIS)

    FYI:
The international gun traffickers are doing a booming business in California today because of the Democrats really stupid gun laws in California.

It's easier and cheaper to buy a gun on the streets in California than putting up with all of the stupid bullshit regulations and paper work in California.

Could you provide the data backing up that claim? I know hundreds of Republicans and to a man they absolutely do not support the right of felons to obtain firearms. Here is my data:

No, you got caught, and now your are trying to squirm out of it like a greased pig. And anyone who was intellectually honest would agree. It is that self evident. You stated a convicted felon caught with a firearm should be shot. Your words. Or is it just because you don't like this convicted felon?

That you did not logically defend yourself but called an observation lame says it all.

Your "source" is a political opinion piece from 2013 ? Not hard data at all.

Your "hundreds" of Republicans may say one thing, but they vote to oppose closing the gun show loophole.

Nevertheless, your "hundreds" of Republicans will have a chance to show their support for keeping guns out of the hands of felons.

If what you say is true(LMAO), then this bill should breeze through the House , Senate and signature by the president.

Yep, but in reference to my post it adds nothing to what I was discussing with the other poster.

Also, at one time, the number of crimes that were considered felonies were much more limited than today. We have turned some crimes into felonies that are non violent, and sometimes crimes that do not have victims.

The gun industry in America started during America's colonial times.

It's how America won its independence from King George.

While the Red Coats and George Washington's Continental Army were armed with smooth bore muskets the colonial militias had rifled muskets manufactured in America allowing them to engage the Red Coats at longer distances using skirmish lines.

No you got caught, and now you are tying to lame your way out of it. I said (people, go back and see how One Mind is twisting words since I tripped him up) that if armed militia tried to interfere with other people the militia should be shot.

There is not and has never been a "gun show loophole". Its a term those ignorant of the law use to imply that a law that doesn't exist is being circumvented.

Still, more people die from the prescribed dose of prescription drugs than meth and Dems are in no position to point fingers. It is tragic regardless of party.

    You said..

Your words, not mine. I did not twist anything. So, you said the ****er was an armed felon. The agents should have shot him. Shot him for what? Being a ****er, or an armed felon? Or both?

My original post stands, and others here will decide who is the idiot, the shyster. And they can keep it to themselves.

Yeh, I know like income tax evasion or turning a blind eye when some bad hombres violate America's sovereignty.

Here in the totalitarian state of California under Proposition 47 many felonies are now misdemeanors and treated as infractions.

The magic number seems to be $950. Walk into a store and walk out not paying for a big screen TV and as long as the price on the price tag is under $950 it's just a misdemeanors and treated as an infraction and you will not even make it to a courtroom and be prosecuted.

Under California's (Jerry Brown, Kamala Harris) Proposition 57 rape of an unconscious girl is no longer a violent crime and neither is an assault with a deadly weapon. You do less time behind bars.

Albuquerque is out of money to house these people (per the news last night). The US is out of housing to house these people. The sanctuary cities do not want to house these people. Thousands of people have no where to go, no food, no money. Still, you don't think that it's a crisis. It appears that you are willing to let them rot on the streets or in the desert.
