They should focus on education or take a year off to be stupid. College is expensive and you can be a wailing brat for free.

 

A few morning thoughts on allowing socially immature, intellectually undeveloped and inexperienced minds (18-22 years old) make decisions for themselves and society at large:

You're probably right to a great extent. Campus SJW's poised to graduate without marketable skills are likely auditioning for jobs as professional activist, and paid lobbyists. It's way easier to imagine it's all about building a resumè, than feeling oppressed.

 

I don't even think it's that. You have to convince people they need you in order to be a successful activist. These people are simply throwing a fit to get attention. Starve them. If they want to remove some obscure monument don't pay them any mind. What are they going to do? Rage louder at a def audience?

 

Yeah ... I've made the "year zero" comparison a lot myself. But I hadn't gotten around to "Lord of the Flies". I intended to roll that out after 2018 mid-terms, but the "adults" (voters) never arrived to admonish the "savages" (DNC) and resucue the "civilized" survivors. But per the campus "savages", I've begun to wonder if they aren't auditioning for activism, or lobbying jobs. Some might be paid for the "activism" underway on campus.

 

Nope, all their educators who are not patriots need to go. It's one thing to want to make the country better. It's another to want to overthrow the government and hide it's past. They are too ignorant to know the difference because they weren't taught all sides and allowed to make their own decisions without bias.

Really? You don't think that organizing a successful lobbying campaign that forces a college administration to cave to your groups demands is resumè material? Good MSM / social media coverage would make you a stand out, even if the effort wasn't successful.

Problem is that kind of job, you know one that is rather meaningless that involves a lot of idiots sucking up to you, and after a certain point of time you can't get fired only attracts the dregs of society.

Thinking they are doing good for their child because in average people who go to college make more money and somehow people don't understand how averages work.

 

Considering the downward spiral the media is in now, I don't think it's worth a hill of beans. Not like a real skill.

 

They are paying for it themselves they bought that time. It just seems stupid to squander it.

Students that graduate and then go into careers study in their leisure time. Future McDonald's employees with PhD in stupidity spend life regretting being an idiot during college.
