First, Trump's personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, said that he had wanted to meet in Kiev, the Ukrainian capital, with the nation’s president-elect and urge him to pursue inquiries that could yield new information that would help his client. He wanted to dig up dirt on former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s son.

Then he cancels the trip and, of course, blames the Democrats for his cancellation. “They say I was meddling in the election — ridiculous — but that’s their spin,” he said.

Well?

Next, Trump decides Rudy is getting far too much attention with his comedy routine. Trump decides to get into the act. He comes up with a brilliant idea. That Attorney General William P. Barr should look into the material gathered by the Ukrainian prosecutors. Trump intimated he was considering speaking to Barr about the overlap between Biden’s diplomacy in Ukraine and his son’s involvement with a gas company.

Aw, this is too much. Hard to believe this nonsense is coming from the President of the United States.

 

This happened Friday. You and other Trump fans ignored it, as usual. Reality is not your thing. You spend all your time questioning Trump's critics, stressing the irrelevant.

The markets are still optimistic. Because of that, Trump hasn't done too much damage ... yet.

CNBC reports, "A global stock market sell-off started to ease on Friday despite the U.S. fulfilling a promise to ramp up tariffs on Chinese goods.

"The U.S. hiked tariffs from 10% to 25% on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods at 12:01 a.m. ET Friday. In response, Beijing said it "deeply regrets" the tariff hike and would take countermeasures — though no specifics were provided.

"Markets across the globe initially fell overnight but were quick to bounce back and trade higher. In Asia, mainland Chinese stocks jumped with the Shanghai composite rising more than 3%. In Europe, the pan-European Stoxx 600 traded nearly 1% higher in early deals with the German DAX up by the same amount. Stateside, Dow futures initially slipped and pointed to nearly triple-digit losses at the open, but soon recovered.

"Uncertainty over trade talks will linger, but some analysts believe investors are still optimistic that the world's two-largest economies will avoid a full-blown trade war."

So far the incompetent President hasn't done too much damage mostly because he is ignored. Let's hope for the best and pray Trump has not started a decline in the two largest economies in the world, precipitating a global recession.

 

Why do you keep calling me a "Trump fan"? When I've made it more than clear I loathe the man.

I believe Obama was a natural born citizen, so why wouldn't he prove it? Just to play games with the right, why wouldn't Trump do the same just to see the left frothing at the mouth?

No doubt about it, Trump's sadistic humor is designed to piss everyone off. Now he is making a joke about a sacred American holiday.

His narcissistic, pathetic humor may have gone too far this time. Even his base regards the July Fourth holiday as hallowed ground, not to be defiled by petty politics.

Hold the laughter, please. This joke isn't the least bit funny.

Who the freak cares? Typical Trump fan, you dismiss all the important posts detailing today's issues and pick a post that deals with a seven year old far right conspiracy theory.

How pathetic can you get.

 

When Obama played games it was great, but when they're played on you it's pathetic......got it.

 

A Trump fan once said, "The trade deficit with China is a problem."

No, that is another lie Trump has told to his base because they are the only ones who will believe it. Trump is counting on his fans not using their common sense.

Most of his fans know that our economy is much larger than China's. What exactly does that mean? It means that American consumers buy a lot more products than Chinese consumers. It means that it is only logical we will buy more from China than they buy from us. That accounts for the trade deficit.

And the trade deficit is not a problem. It is good thing because it speaks to the overwhelming superiority of the American economy over the Chinese economy. The products our importers buy from China account for the trade deficit and are bought by American consumers in our vibrant economy.

Trump wants you to believe the trade deficit is money we are losing to China. That is a lie. The trade deficit is the product differential between China and the much larger U.S. economy.

Considering the success of our economy and our full employment, I will ask again. What is the problem Trump's tariffs are supposed to be solving? Why is he placing inflationary pressures on our economy? Inflation leads to recession.

 

A wrap up of the Trump Presidency. I doubt Trump's fans can challenge any of it.

Trump is fighting every Congressional subpoena. He does not want any of his staffers, current and former, talking to Congress. He does not want Congress to see his tax returns even though all other Presidents for the past 50 years have disclosed their tax returns. He refused to part with his businesses, and he and his companies are profiting from his Presidency. So is Ivanka and Jared, both of whom are senior advisors to the President.

The Mueller Report provided significant evidence against Trump, cooperation with the Russian government on the part his Presidential campaign and obstruction of justice. Several portions of it were redacted by his consigliere, William Barr. Trump refuses to allow Congress to see the full, unredacted version of the report and the underlying evidence.

Trump is operating a secret Presidency. His White House has not held a press conference in eight weeks. In 29 months, Trump has not conducted a full-fledged press conference with the White House press corps. By contrast, Obama had 17, Bush 7, and Clinton 27,same time frame.

He and his spokesperson, press secretary Sarah Sanders, are both pathological liars. As our President, his word can't be trusted. He often makes official Presidential statements designed solely to anger his enemies.

He is doing his best to weaken the American economy because of a moronic, counterproductive campaign promise.
