It is not like everyone doesn't already know that FOX's main mission has been to spread misinformation.

She's mostly correct, and that's a great line, but I still think she should have done it...

Examples:
When the black woman's daughter was shot by gang bangers and she accused a white man of the shooting, they were all hands on deck screeching about white supremacy without a shred of evidence. No apology when it was revealed that gang bangers did the shooting.
When blacks were looting grocery stores during a flood, TYT demonized a white reporter for calling the cops and accused her of racism.
Cenk's denial of the Armenian genocide until very recently.

AIU has decimated dozens of TYT's "stories" and exposed them as a pack of partisan liars and haters with no respect for truth. It is perhaps the most filthy disgusting youtube channel to ever exist. However, I do not want them to go away for it exposes for the world to see how hatred's home is now on the left.

 

So then why doesn't she go on Fox to challenge them on it?

While I don't disagree with Warren's characterization of FOX I disagree with her decision. The FOX town hall moderators are the news professionals at FOX - not the propagandists. Warren should have taken the opportunity to talk with FOX viewers and forget about the venue.

The only "hate for profit racket" I know of are ABC-NBC-CBS-CNN-MSNBC-NPR-PBS-NYT-LAT-Time-Newsweek-Google-Twitter-Facebook-Hollywood.

Fox went out of their way to accommodate Amy Klobuchar in Milwaukee.
There was nothing done that skewed her opportunity to openly talk about several progressive issues.
You could tell that many of the audience questions actually set her up to easily talk about her perspectives.

CNN or MSNBC would NEVER allow a conservative to be able to speak freely for more that about 30 seconds before they would be cut off.

So Warren, to me, is a non-contender at this point. No attraction equals no traction...

Warren is clear in her reasoning, and spot on. In recent years, the conservative cable news giant has bled advertisers as it has dealt with self-imposed scandal after scandal. Public pressure on advertisers forced the network to drop marquee names like Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck, while sending others, like Laura Ingraham, Tucker Carlson and Judge Jeanine Pirro, into hiatuses to quell the controversy around their most inflammatory rhetoric. Warren’s decision not to prop up the network allows her to take a stand as the Democratic candidate willing to stand up for her own convictions in the heat of a campaign. It also puts her in line with Democratic National Committee chair Tom Perez, who took some heat for his decision not to allow a primary debate on the network.

 

Elizabeth Warren. Another liberal failure! What has she ever done for anyone? Best this Hillary wannabe can do is retire! Amazing that any liberal would buy into anything she says, but then again they are liberals!

That is not true. FOX is FOX. The local news channels may be professionals, but on FOX News, everything is still slanted.

 

She has been fighting for consumer rights. I know conservatives want to pretend the government has no role to play, but without government regulation, every business in town would soon be taking advantage of their customers and employees.

I don't know, maybe you don't mind getting ripped off with no recourse.

 

Her Twitter feed is great comedy. This rant of hers on Twitter was the height of insanity or stupidity. The replies were hilarious.

 

Did you learn that on FOX?

 

Only a small fraction of the population watches FOX. Apparently the conservative/Evangelical/Confederacy crowd only make up a little over 40% of the population. That makes you a minority.

 

How would you know? You think that "Washington, Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, Adam Smith, and Eisenhower" are right wing extremists.
