Border Patrol: More migrants suffering serious injuries as they enter U.S. illegally

If you cared anything about this issue you would already know that they've attempted to pass numerous pieces of legislation over the years, but the Open Borders-Sanctuary City-Benefits & Amnesty for All-Pandering to La Raza, et al-Do Nothing Democrats aren't interested in fixing our immigration problems. They're content to sit and watch a flood of immigrants cross our border and deny there is a crisis.

Which is why border barriers are only part of the solution. You can stop pretending that people think it is the only solution.

The Internet is at your fingertips, and total control requires a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate, which the Republicans never had for those two years.

 

You do realize that people have been calling for a wall and other immigration reform for over 40 years, don't you? Why do you think it is relevant that Trump was unable to accomplish anything in just 2 years that members of Congress (many of the same people have been there for that 40 years) have not been able to accomplish in that 40 years? Blaming everything on Trump seems partisan. I understand that building a wall was one of his main political platform, but it has been a main political platform for politicians in the past as well. It also seems that members on both sides of the aisle have been in support of a "wall" in the past, but now it is "useless" or "impractical" or even "immoral" now that Trump has pushed the issue.

 

A wall has always been the most effective of way of securing the southern border. The Democrats said they would prefer drones and letting the grass grow taller but neither of these options are as certain as a tall, climb proof. wall. However if there other systems as secure and financially viable then many people would look forward to hearing those alternatives.

 

It's probably just as well you support either party.

 

Lets close the border asap.
