Reason: The OP has no basis for respectful debate and is little more than flamebaiting “ WTF! Most of the posts on this board could be deleted for the same reason. Sometimes it's as simple as the Left complaining to the mods all the time about EVERYTHING and the Right seldom complaining about much of anything in comparison. It's the squeaky well getting the grease syndrome.
That wasn't flame baiting. It was respectful truth telling. But feel free to complain to the mods about it. It is your right.
Every time that happens to me, I determine to say the same exact thing in a way that is less assailable. If fact, that happened to me recently. I had a post deleted because of the phrase "don't cut off your nose to spite your face", so I just started a thread exactly about the "old saying". Sometimes people are misunderstood, and sometimes they are misrepresented. Often, those with the power of censorship impute to another not only something that the other did not imply but something that the censor, them self, did not infer. I've noticed another pattern. People are more likely to be censored, not only when the censor disagrees, but also when they fear the affect of what they censor. In other words, censorship indicates that you hit a nerve, so keep at it. Dig there. Censorship means that you're on to something.
I suspect your complainer has already reported you to the mods, one of which has a sense of humor and a couple are off the rail lefties.
Meanwhile, pseudo-intellectual hate threads like "Just how intelligent are Trump supporters" stay up. But I still think you should stay. This is election day for the EU Parliament. You're going to see some serious fireworks.
Imagine my surprise when I was informed that addressing someone as "Kemosabe" constitutes flamebait. In my case, I'm able to say a great many things that need saying regardless.
Do you consider everything is a right/left paradigm? The thing is that nothing good comes from disagreeing with people rather than ideas, but the very worst things come from agreeing with people rather than ideas. I, for one, would someday like to read your ideas about people's ideas rather than your ideas about those people. Give that a shot and let me know if you pull it off.
