The best southern rock band, imo.

Little Feet (with Lowell George, of course) is my personal favorite...

I’m not usually into heavy rock but this band is so tight I was rivetted until they messed up the Stones number.

Despite the overproduced digital mush you can tell this guy can sing. The eye candy though is a bit much.

The bass guitarist is the star here I reckon. Hate George’s suit but some ladies find it a turn on. YUK!

Mosart would never have use orchestral forces or a choir that large to accompany a boy soprano. Maybe that’s why he requires a microphone?
I’ve never witnessed a boy soprano use a microphone in King College Chapel etc.
Here’s the same soprano practicing without microphone.

I am growing senile, I mispelt Mozart !
The acoustics of most gothic cathedrals/chapels help but the strict limitation of musical forces does too.
Placement works too. Vocal soloists in large scale works such as Mahler’s 8th are always placed in front of the other thousand or so performers.
Mind you, classical vocalists trained for opera singing could be heard over an earthquake. Boy sopranos can’t make as much noise until after their voices break.

Speaking of voices breaking, here’s the same young man a few years later. Amazing what a bit of testosterone will do to the vocal chords.

A lot of African music is on my favourite list. This clip though reminds me of a pet bug of mine, men’s clothing in the ‘developed’ world has been stuck in a rut for over a century. Why can’t we dress like these guys?

I just saw an advert on TV for a new album called Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent; Needlessly to say, I had to rewind my dvr to see what I just saw, and I found it was real and not a spoof for an up an coming sitcom, but a genuine album.

Wish I could share it here with you now, but can't seem to find the ad I just saw it on Google or YouTube.

I misspell lots of things. Often a typo I haven’t checked but just as often advancing senility. Well they are my two excuses.
At least I usually get the grammar correct. But to misspell Mozart is a crime from my perspective as I worship the man having placed him on a pedestal just below J S Bach at the age of 14. I still have them there. See, I almost typed their.
