I'm OK with immunity for Steele, I care about US bad actors not him. If he's getting immunity it means he has lots of beans to spill.

 

Mueller kept the investigation alive long after he knew for certain that Trump didn't collude with the Russians. In fact, Mueller probably knew before he even took on the project.

The real irony in all of this is that once Trump was sworn in, he was perfectly willing to let all of the misdeeds fade into the past. Sessions never would have pursued it.

But meatheads like Schiff and Warner were not simply willing to, "let sleeping dogs lie."

Now even members of the PRESS are potentially at risk for being active participants within the conspiracy, as well as a few foreign CIA assets who have been exposed in the FBI sting operations.

While Barr may end up selectively prosecuting some of the bad actors, the scandal remains so large that it could take years to find out all of the details about how corrupt the Obama administration really was.

My guess is that there will be plenty of medium range plea deals that will lead up the ladder.

Meanwhile, I would absolutely love to see Andrew Weissman have to testify in an Impeachment trial. That would be an epic event.

He testified in writing. Mueller never subpoenaed him and for good reason. Mueller would have had to share evidence and there was none.

 

It is pretty predictable that the people who get away with crimes, and who do not see any consequences, are often those who begin to think that they can get away with just about anything.

"Testifying" in writing? I can't say it was a bad decision. He obstructed justice, and no one who has committed a felony should submit to a formal interview.

So it was a good decision by Trump - because he was guilty, and because his lawyers knew he was incapable of telling the truth under oath, which would have led to another felony.

Dirty Donny is as crooked as the day is long. And you either can't see it or don't care.

 

Go back and watch the first debate. Crooked Hillary was already accusing Trump of cozying up to Putin. It was a narrative in progress the whole time. And yes ... Steele leaked it to multiple media outlets BEFORE the election.

 

She was right. He has cozied up to Putin.
