The fact that you cannot differentiate between an Operating system platform, a networking platform, an application development platform, is obvious.

emails are hosted by private companies they can ban you and forbid you from using their services just like Twitter can.

Jack Dorsey has allowed that line of communication to exist if he didn't want his platform made into public space you should not have in the first place.

the same should apply to telephone companies and television. If you don't have the right to politics or abide by the terms of service which is code word for you don't have the right politics, you shouldn't be allowed to use a phone. Phone companies are private companies they should be allowed to ban you based on politics.

the only distinction that there is that you refuse to understand is that Jack Dorsey has a special right to remove you because he doesn't like you. Android cannot bar you from using their products because they don't like you. No other platform is able to do that.

Okay I'll use another communications platform that are very much similar.

phone companies are private businesses with private contracts with their people. they don't get to just change the contract halfway through it and throw you off because you are disagreeing with their political beliefs.

Why should Twitter or Facebook be allowed to do that? What makes them special?

Can we at last say openly what is as plain as day? The parts of the left that hold power are becoming evil. I can't say I disagree with this. I do think this is a very very ominous turn, because it has the potential to reach into commerce generally. Or big business to start with, and then potentially some kind of Brown Shirt 'sanctioned via blind eye' (as per police in Portland Oregon) harassment of small businesses based on their clientele. It could easily become a 21stC Spanish Inquisition.
As more and more absurd and very poorly defined laws are ratified and enshrined, the closer we inch to lights out. You can actually see the darkness creeping towards you.

And god knows why they've never stopped to think about what happens when the wind changes (as it always does), and the Inquisition is turned upon them. Either incredibly short memories, or just incredibly stupid. To wish for powers that you'd never want your enemy to have, is the stupidest thing imaginable.

 

yes, there is mistakes, like the keto or carnivore sites that are effected, they need to work on auto detecting fake complaints that trigger the banning system, I would recommend a couple humans all have to pull the final trigger - otherwise you have vegans complaining about meat eaters, Christians against Muslims, Muslims against Christians, right vs left, left vs right and the list goes on issuing fake complaints
