Helping one's neighbor Is not going to cut it, The government, on the other hand, Is big enough to do it.

And what is the government's overhead cost? Their efficiency history, and ratio?

You support a redistribution of wealth... taking from those who earn it, and giving it to those who didn't.

So you don't do anything to help your neighbors, because it won't 'cut it'... nice to know that someone wants what others have, under guise of helping people, when they themselves will not personally help them.

There are unpleasant words for people like that..... You have proven by your posts that you feel you are entitled to something that is not yours. You aren't, and never will be.

I used to think I could get by, by working, As a kid, I supported good old fashion work. What I didn't realize was that I wasn't going to be the average person, with a job and family.

I tried to do good old fashioned work, But I was never able to work enough hours to get a good income going. I did try the old way and it didn't work. I'm never going to go back that way again if I can get in the new money distribution.

Now that it seems UBI, in its various forms, is being discussed,. that means it's close to being implemented, in one form or another. The automation of jobs is just the excuse to do it.

More often 'blue collar'. Lower Middle Class wasn't really a thing much before the 21stC.

And of course, it's not real. You're either financially secure (not easily impacted by changes in economic climate), or you're not.

So because you 'couldn't work enough hours', you feel other people should be paying you for doing...nothing. Just out of curiosity, how many jobs have you held, and how many at the same time? You know, like two or three part time jobs to may enough money to support yourself?

No, UBI is not 'close' to being implemented. Right now, with unemployment numbers being what they are, with wages rising, UBI is no where's near being implemented. Between now and the next couple of decades when it might be considered, you are going to get mighty hungry.

Go visit your local food pantry, shop at Goodwill, and share an apartment with 5 or 6 people, take the bus and work 2 or more jobs... like many people did, and many people do.

Yes but how does that relate to any supposed mandate to sell everything you have and give it to the poor.

    Need a little help?

I'll give you a hint, the quote is instructions for a repentant thief wanting to live his life in a way that pleases God.
