A tsunami came early in Trump’s presidency with the global Woman’s March. This was a breathtaking historical event that heralded the global rise of women’s power in politics. The Republican Party ignored it or dismissed it. A second tsunami hit the GOP when data revealed a rapidly shifting demographic to women and hispanic voters. Multiple sources reported a growing percentage of Independent voters moving decidedly toward Democrats. Young voters (18-35) overwhelming register either Democrat or Independent. Therefore, in every special election held in 2017, Republicans gave up their seats to Democratic challengers - sometimes by large margins. Large turnouts by women and minorities swung those elections away from the GOP. In 2018, a third Tsunami hit the GOP during the mid-term elections. Democrats wrested 40 seats from the House of Representatives putting Democrats in control. With that went control of all House committee chairs and the power to investigate. And still the GOP, now the Party of Trump, denies, discounts, and dismisses reality.
Is this supposed to be a public service announcement to thank anchor babies and illegals on the Democrat party's soon-to-be short lived victories?
Actually we praised Trump for that women's march because it got a million fat ladies off the couch and gave them exercise. Trump did what Michelle Obama could only dream of. That was one of his first big victories.
