Pentagon Condemns Russian Conduct after Warship’s Near-Collision with U.S. Cruiser

You're still not addressing the point that the US ship wasn't any more restricted in maneuvering than the Russian,... since the chopper was at a nice comfy distance taking pictures of it all.

 

Only a high aerial view of the paths of both ships when they were still both far away from each can show who may have changed course to place both ships on a collision course. It seems like it was a clear day and lookouts high up using "bigeyes" can see further than 12 miles easily so I'm not sure how these two ships even got that close to each other in the first place. I spent 2 years on a 370 foot Coast Guard cutter out of Governors Island, NY and we never once had a near miss incident.

 

It is arrogance. When the Russians come flying close to the US... they get "intercepted" and "escorted" away.

So every time you see Russian planes entering foreign airspace or buzzing allied planes you
get angry at America? And would you angry at the thought that America is intruding in "Chinese
territory" in the Philippine Sea, back up by Russia's navy?
What about the American spy plane with 24 crew hitting a Chinese interceptor jet near Hainan
Island? Would you see that as a America suicide attack on a helpless Chinese jet? Many do.

 

Here's a larger photo of the incident. If you look on the left side of the photo you'll notice that the American ship did change course and turned towards the Russian ship. This is what Russia reported to the US government before Washington flipped it and made Russia the aggressor.

you still have no clue. restricted maneuvering is not just for 5 min it can be for hours, when doing flight ops they are landing and taking off you need to have the wind speed and direction is needed to prevent crashes. tell everyone how long does it take for the helo to load or unload cargo while it is hovering over the flight deck, how long does it take for it to be safely tied down and secured after flight operations. was the helo trying to land to refuel and now couldn't and this put the crew in danger? there are hundreds of other things you need to know about that no picture is going to show to determine if it was as safe as you claim.

LOL Ships don't "brake"! Ships steer out of way of potential collisions. What we can say is that the Russian ship was traveling faster than the US ship.

Also since we don't know the tidal flow, the direction of wake at that distance from the ship is of no use in determining if the Russian ship was or was not in a straight line until it changed direction to avoid collision. What we can see is that the US ship made no effort to steer away

What I should add though is that the US ship was traveling very slowly judging by the length of its wake and may have only started to move when a possible collision was discovered which points to the Russian ship being the culprit

It wasn't a hoax, but a legitimate investigation into the Trump campaign.

Moscow has proven to Washington a million and one times that they will never give in, so what is there to understand?

It's obvious from the photo that the Russian ship on the right was veering away from the American one, while the American ship was veering towards the Russian one and at a higher speed - so what are you trying to pull?
