(I don't have an article for this, I hope this is okay) It looks like she's leaving..... I think she's done a good job, amidst some incredible and often inexcusable opposition and personal attacks. I wonder what will come next for her...... her own political run, maybe? And I wonder who might replace her?
Done a good job?...........When was the lie fest?, I mean white house press conference? That will be one hell of a party in hell, thats for sure!
OMG... best post of the day!! Her own political run..... Sure, in Deplorable-ville, she's a shoe in (if those shoes are 11 Wides) As I posted in the KellyAnne thread, I'd like to see that Raj Shah get a bigger role.... He's watchable for a full 15 minutes at a time... Wow... I mean she's leaving TODAY it looks like... Pics on MSNBC of farewells....
Sure... because Daddy was a mucky muck there.... I got it.... Deplorable-ism doesn't go back to the 90's.... it's a recent phenomenon...
So Arkansas is now "Deplorable-ville"? Well, the Clintons are from Arkansas, so yeah, who knows I wouldn't underestimate her experience and connections. With one hand tied behind her back she's still more qualified than plenty of your recently elected Democrat news makers. (AOC, cough, cough.) She has definitely proven to have a cool head and a smart mind.
Being press-secretary has a very high attrition rate. Sarah not only lasted as long or longer than most, but did an admirable job of it as well. Not easy fending off a pack of wolves at every trip to the podium. I wish her the best at whatever she does next.
All she's really proven to have is a lying tongue and little patience, sort of the exact opposite requirements of the job she held. But fine, it's a free country... she can run for whatever she wants.... I just hopes if she wins anything nationally, she finds a decent press secretary...
Yep, she's leaving at the top of the game https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2019/04/02/press-briefings-white-house-226480 Here's a great quote from that article SNIP “No one’s sure what the policy is,” Crowley told the New York Times. “If you don’t know what the policy is, you don’t want to be communicating it. ENDSNIP
You do know that when he was in office, Governor Mike Huckabee was ranked the 2nd best governor in the United States. And the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette ranked him as the best Arkansas governor in the last 50 years.
If one were looking for someone who's easy on the eyes and has past experience as a spokesperson, Heather Nauert would be a good candidate. Though I'd hate to see such a classy lady have to deal with all the animals that show up at the press conferences. Another option is to just end the press conferences altogether. I don't think much good comes out of them. I'd rather see the President come out on his own occasionally to address the issues as he sees fit.
The Press Secretary needs to be quick on his/her feet, be strong with arrogant reporters, not fall into traps set by the real slimy ones like Acosta, and be able to shut them down as needed. For that role I would see if Bill O'Reilly would be interested in the job.
