I think stun guns would require up close and personal contact. I wouldn't want to walk towards someone who appeared to be holding a weapon. The "black man" was a cold blooded killer. He shot someone five times in the process of committing a crime. I say good riddance to him. For the retard rioters, any excuse to get on the victimhood bandwagon, and to cause trouble. No, a stun gun in this situation was not probably the right answer. But if police hurting they don't have to hurt (this case is not one of those, I think), a reckoning is coming for the blue line from the citizens, I do believe.
Memphis...has to be run by Democrats. Memphis is located in Shelby County one of the few blue counties in Tennessee that went with Crooked Hillary bigly. Hillary got 2/3 of the low information votes in 2016 in Shelby County.
Okay I realize this situation was bad because the driver had killed someone, but there are cases where innocent people are killed because the police had reacted too fast. What if they could react fast with something that wasn't as lethal as a gun. Wouldn't that be better?
I am guessing it is because of the number of black people who have been killed by the police without even having a weapon. Sounds like they have lost the trust of the population. I also agree that a taser or something similar should be used rather than a Gun though they themselves are very dangerous and kill people.
