I never remember Ca being the greatest state in the Nation. It's always been referred to as la la land.

It took them at least 2 generations to assimilate.
The original immigrants likely didn't speak and likely learned limited English.
2nd generation went to school here and learned English and the native language.
3rd generation probably never learned native language and only English.

Assimilation doesn't happen over nite. But eventually all will assimilate.

So you are justifying hiring of illegals?
I didn't blame tRUMP personally. Just his companies, and AFAIK, he didn't fire any of those managers who knowingly hired illegals. And they should be in jail.
If one cares about the immigration issue.

    OK,
    I meant that illegals vote.

Lizbeth Mateo, a 33-year-old attorney and immigrant rights activist, will serve on the California Student Opportunity and Access Program Project Grant Advisory Committee. The committee advises the California Student Aid Commission on efforts to increase college access for California students from low-income or underserved communities.

"While Donald Trump fixates on walls, California will continue to concentrate on opportunities," de León said in a news release. "Ms. Mateo is a courageous, determined and intelligent young woman who at great personal risk has dedicated herself to fight for those seeking their rightful place in this country."

Wouldn't have a clue what those reality tv stations sound like.
Who watches any of the BS from them or faux tv? Waste of time and life.

I am talking about what I see a lot on this website

It was back when America was still great and California had the best public school system in the country, free Jr. colleges, the best roads and highways in America, low taxes, business friendly, no gun laws, and personal freedoms and the freedom of choice and no illegal aliens or taco trucks and you never had to press 1 for English.

The Democrats would harvest my feet.

I would remain on California's voting roles and someone will cast a vote using my name.

In California there are more people registered to vote than there are eligible voters.

    America is always great.
It's just different to old people because of the constant change. And most old people don't like change. They like it the way it was when they were young.

The roadways were new when you were young.
But it takes funding to keep them in shape. Which party doesn't want to pay for things?
The population likely tripled from when you were young also.

I just saw an exchange where a woman told Julian Castro that an illegal stole her identity and asked if he would be removing illegals.

    His response was "crime happens".

That sounds like a typical Democrat response, judging by the replies posted here.

That illegal should be jailed along with any who appointed her.

Thanks to the 14th Amendment, which dictates the mechanics of how the president is elected, as well as the Supreme Court’s ruling in Evenwell v. Abbott, Democrats are using illegal immigration to alter the balance of power in the Electoral College from rural, Republican-leaning states to those that are predominately blue and in some cases purple. A quick glance at the 20 metro areas with the largest number of illegal aliens confirms this.

No, illegal immigrants aren’t allowed to directly vote for the commander-in-chief yet, but in vast numbers they can dramatically alter the Electoral College to favor Democrats for at least a decade because a state’s electoral votes are based on the number of people residing within that state, not the number of citizens present when the Decennial Census is taken.

If a nefarious power grab seems far-fetched, ask yourself this — why are Democrats so intent on blocking the addition of a citizenship question to the 2020 Census?

Actually older people have been there and done that and lessons learned...If it's not broken, don't fix it.
