Laws are useless if someone's making sure they're not getting enforced.

For starters, if you understood how contracting worked you wouldn't have mentioned Trump at all and would have went strait to the source, that being the INDEPENDENT contractors contracted to do the various projects!

Secondly I believe these contractors and there illegal employee's are protected by illegal leftist sanctuary practices, depending on states and city.

I find it quite revealing that folks like you are VERY GOOD at pointing fingers at the developers but always fall a weee bit short when it comes to actually NAMING or pointing a finger at those contracted companies that actually do their own hiring for their OWN COMPANIES

Yeah, that's a fair point. Maybe that's what we need to legislate. As it is now, it's not required, although it is illegal to knowingly hire illegals. Many states do require landlords to run that check, so why not require employers to do the same?
