Nothing in history is evidence of god, lol. As I said, you can in no way substantiate your claims.

He knows his base will believe anything even though he has been lying to them thousands and thousands and thousands of times. Pathetic

And most of us don’t want to pay for lung cancer treatment for people who smoked and we don’t want to pay for vasectomies and we don’t want to pay for other things. But we care about our fellow Americans

We pay more per capita for healthcare than any other nation in the world and we don't have outcome data showing that our care is superior.

I just don't see any reason to believe the "America Can't" mantra.

We need to take the health of US citizens as seriously as other nations take the health of their citizens.

If Americans cared about their own health they would need far less health care and we wouldn't be spending so much.
If we cared about people we would do more to encourage them not to smoke.
The problem is not our health care system it's that we are stupid and insist on doing things we know are bad for our bodies and our minds.
Our healthcare is exorbitant because we abuse ourselves not because of a fault in the system.

To argue that you would need to show that there is some other industrialized nation that spends less than we do on healthcare because through the course of life and/or government mandate people lead healthier lives.

That sounds hard to me. Plus, the fact that these other governments charge healthcare to taxes gives better encouragement for laws on stuff like smoking, encouragement of exercise, etc.

In the US, we really have no financial justification for teaching diet. So we don't.

I know , you’re right those who can’t get healthcare should just die. I want to know why we’re the only industrialized country that doesn’t care about everyone getting healthcare

Has nothing to do with caring about health care or not. Has to do with maintaining the quality without increasing costs which government and insurance companies would both do and at the same time limiting government control over who gets what care.

The individual mandate was a bad idea. Instead we should have had a public option and subsidies that were enough to pay for it.

The biggest problem is we have government and insurance companies involved. Thats a recipe for high costs.
Hospitals see deep pockets and bump up prices.

We either need a private system or a government system. Right now we have the worst of both worlds

Insurance companies control over who gets what care...like if you have pre existing conditions etc....The insurance companies profits big-time but you rather support them in the millions of people who were denied healthcare. We just have different values

Almost every developed nation has a smart mix of private and public healthcare and has far lower healthcare costs than we do and very affordable care for those in need. Other developed nations spend as much to cover everyone as we do on just Medicare and Medicaid alone.

Other development countries have much smaller populations and most other nations live much healthier lives. Americas biggest heathcare problems is people live in unhealthy ways then expect doctors to fix their symptoms without changing their bad behavior.

Japan and Germany have 120 million and 80 million people respectively and aren't any more expensive than nations with just 5 million people. Just because a country is big doesn't mean stuff there is expensive and the US is generally cheaper than Europe in everything but healthcare. Even though the total cost is higher in big countries, there are more people to pay them, so it all balances out. Also private healthcare in the US isn't done on a national level and is done by many different insurance companies that have plans on the state level, so our size can't be used as an excuse for overpriced healthcare. Big corporations are also much larger than small companies but often beat them with much lower prices because of economies of scale that counterbalance their bureaucracies.

When it comes to food and obesity other developed nations are much healthier. But they also have much higher rates of smoking, and smoking is just as expensive to our healthcare as obesity is. They also have a big problem with alcoholism. In addition, they have a much larger aging population, and older people are far more expensive to care for. Its surprising they pay half as much per capita for healthcare when they have a lot more smokers and old people.

Why do you insert the word nowadays.
Could it be that there was a time... a fairly recent time when that was not true?
And that reality was driven by religious motives

And, i believe it remains true that there remains significant discrimination in terms of promotion, and therefore pay.
    Which special privileges?
