You can add moral treason to the list now.

And we have it in Trump’s own words on television.

Where would you be without cartoons? They seem to represent about 90% of your thinking.

Interesting. I don't care for Trump's personality either but I understand that every one of those statements were to the benefit of his negotiations. You have simply hidden behind a wall of hatred.

Moral treason? Has Trump hatred left you without any common sense?

Wonderful. You have to admit listening to the elite lefties tell everyone else why Trump was going to be out of office any day over the last two years has been nothing but pure comedy. I especially love the resisters and but I am really a "registered republican" bantering and complaining but refuse to offer an alternative from the democrat dumpster fire as a better choice to unite the country.

Not that its any of your business, but I frequent other sites that have lots of timely cartoons... which I like to share when a topic fits. Like your post reminds me of this classic.

Do you really believe what you said? Why do you support Trump? This is a pathetic response to what I said.

Are you being funny? You have no answer to my statements, so you crack jokes. That says a lot about your support for Trump. You need to examine your support. If you can't defend the man, what the hell are you doing?

I agree. Trump has done nothing for Americans except reduce some paperwork (less regulation). That is offset by the severe damage he has done with his tariffs, loss of retirement savings for millions, increasing prices, inflationary pressures, damage to farmers, etc.

What evidence? I gave you an opportunity, and you provided no evidence.

Your support for Trump is pathetically weak. It is based solely on rhetoric, not accomplishments. Think about that.

Trump is happy to get information on political opponents from hostile foreign governments.

Trump thinks of himself more as a reality T.V. host than a President, and he loves drama, particularly if he is at the center of it.

For that reason Trump wants to be impeached. It would be an exciting melodrama, and he would be the star attraction. Moreover, he is assured of a happy ending. The lapdogs in the Senate, otherwise known as Trump Republicans, will exonerate him of any wrongdoing.

Allow me to digress. Regarding the recent crisis with Mexico, I wrote, "So, all of this was just another bogus threat from Trump. This is typical Trump. First, he creates a controversy out of thin air. Then later he backs down from his threats and claims he solved the controversy he created."

Then, I added, "So, the only question now is, on what day of next week will he create another controversy and what will it be about?" That was written Sunday.

Turns out, that day was Wednesday as Trump made another bold attempt to get the House Democrats to impeach him. Trump is remarkably predictable, and his desire to obfuscate one dire controversy by creating a more dire controversy is well known. That is how our President works. Never a dull moment, and he doesn't mind at all looking stupid. After all, he is the one who said:

“No, it’s not what I meant. It’s what I said."

So, what do we have this week? We have a President who said he was willing to get dirt on a political opponent from Russia, China, or some other hostile foreign government. He sees nothing wrong with that, and, no, he would not contact the FBI. In fact when his own appointee, FBI Director Chris Wray, said that is what campaigns should do, Trump said, “The F.B.I. director is wrong.”

“It’s not an interference,” Trump said in an interview with ABC News, describing it as “opposition research.” “They have information — I think I’d take it.”

"I think you might want to listen," Trump said in the interview on Wednesday. "There isn't anything wrong with listening."

"I think I'd want to hear it," Trump said, downplaying the idea such a move by Russia or China would amount to election interference.

After all this country has been through, and it is far from over, our President said that. Words fail me.

    Sarah Sanders quit today.

Trump's bad decisions caused you to permanently lose money and you are okay with that.

Now your hero tells us he is willing to work with the Russians to get dirt on his political opponents.

    Trumpets are something.

The Justice Department under William Barr does not want Americans to see what is in Trump's tax returns. For 50 years American Presidents have released their tax information and placed their holdings in a blind trust.

But not Trump, and the DOJ supports him.

Also, Trump's Justice Department is breaking the law. The federal tax code states that the Treasury secretary "shall furnish" tax returns sought by the chairmen of Congress's tax committees, so long as the documents are viewed in a closed session.

The Hill reports, ""While the Executive Branch should accord due deference and respect to congressional requests, Treasury was not obliged to accept the Committee’s stated purpose without question, and based on all the facts and circumstances, we agreed that the Committee lacked a legitimate legislative purpose for its request," Steven Engel, an assistant attorney general in DOJ's Office of Legal Counsel, said in the 33-page opinion."

    https://thehill.com/policy/finance/...acking-treasurys-refusal-to-release-trump-tax

First, the law says nothing about a "legislative purpose." Two, there is a "legislative purpose." And three, Trump is just wasting everyone's time. His administration is so busy fighting Congress, so busy with litigation, it is unable to govern.

In saying "based on all the facts and circumstances, we agreed that the Committee lacked a legitimate legislative purpose for its request" the DOJ is declaring oversight authority over a congressional investigative committee, and it has no such authority.

Democrats need to assert and enforce their authority.

On Wednesday Trump said he was willing to get dirt on a political opponent from Russia, China, or some other hostile foreign government. He sees nothing wrong with that, and, no, he would not contact the FBI. In fact when his own appointee, FBI Director Chris Wray, said that is what campaigns should do, Trump said, “The F.B.I. director is wrong.”

On Friday, visiting the friendly folks on "Fox and Friends," Trump insisted he would both want to review information provided from a foreign government and give the information to the FBI, if it's "incorrect or badly stated."

"If I thought anything was incorrect or badly stated, I'd report to the FBI or law enforcement, absolutely," Trump.said.

"Everybody understands that and I thought it was made clear," Trump told Fox & Friends.

So, if the information is correct and stated well, nothing has change. He will give the information to the FBI only if it's "incorrect or badly stated."

“I don't think anybody would present me with anything because they know how much I love the country,” Trump said.

This guy is a piece of work.

Trump announced he is bringing Fox's Tom Homan back to the administration as a "border czar." Here's what you need to know about him.
Meet Tom Homan, the source of Fox News’ bogus immigration talking points

    https://www.mediamatters.org/blog/2...-news-bogus-immigration-talking-points/223913

Tom Homan, once President Donald Trump’s acting head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, has become a major source of misinformation on Fox News about immigration. Homan associated himself with anti-immigrant bigotry during and after his tenure in government, left a legacy of cruel actions against immigrants, and continued espousing anti-immigrant rhetoric after joining Fox News as a contributor in August 2018.

How handy..... you say "anti-immagrant", but of course you SHOULD say "anti-illegal immigrant". What you selectively do is fail to define those that violate our sovereignty and rape our entitlement systems and hopefully vote for your Marxist candidates.

A Trump fan admitted a couple weeks ago he had lost 20% of his savings during those six down weeks beginning with Trump’s dumbass May 5 announcement of tariffs on Chinese goods exacerbated by his May 30 bogus threat to place tariffs on our largest trading partner, Mexico.

It is likely to get worse if Trump and Xi don’t iron things out at the G-20 summit beginning on June 20.

I don’t think they will. Trump assumes the U.S. is the only trading partner China can have. He seems to have overlooked the other 199 nations on the planet China can trade with. Moreover, China is much like other nations. She doesn’t respond well to threats.

That’s a valuable lesson Trump hasn’t learned yet and that explains why, in the 30 months of his Presidency, the Great Negotiator has yet to sign a trade deal of any significance.

“You’re doing a hell of a job, Donny,” Vladimir Putin.

Two administration officials said they believed Mr. Trump had not been briefed in any detail about the steps to place “implants” — software code that can be used for surveillance or attack — inside the Russian grid.

Pentagon and intelligence officials described broad hesitation to go into detail with Mr. Trump about operations against Russia for concern over his reaction — and the possibility that he might countermand it or discuss it with foreign officials, as he did in 2017 when he mentioned a sensitive operation in Syria to the Russian foreign minister.

Let's pause for a moment and grasp the depth of this! We have PENTAGON INTELLIGENCE acting in atypical ways, if not highly perfidious or illicit ways, with the president, in order to protect this country from the president!!! And we're supposed to think Trump is fit for the job??? This is no small thing! Actually it "just" one more huge, major and shocking case of why Trump needs to be relieved of duty!

At this point it would be prudent to intervene and get a psychological study of him to determine whether he actually lives in his own little made up world, or whether he is lying. Behavior like this is not acceptable for a president!
