Are abortions linked to low IQ?

It's not rocket science is it. If you don't want to get pregnant and have kids, then you avoid penetration, ejaculation and conception.

So what on earth is going wrong? Can I safely assume it's down to IQ?

Why didn't you do some research and find out?

Probably not. IQ isnt a reliable metric for much, and accidental pregnancy is a wisdom and self control problem, not a knowledge or intelligence problem.

Let's face it....this thread was NOT started to discuss anything ( no research) but to denigrate women...

I guess we can discuss the IQ of people who start such a thread as this, but that would be a very small discussion, so to speak ...

IME alcohol is a wisdom and self control inhibitor.

Should successful career women trying to climb the corporate ladder be prevented from getting abortions?

I remember reading in Singapore at one point in the 80s they were handing out free color televisions to any woman with a college degree who decided to have a child. They were concerned women with college degrees weren't having children and it would make the IQ go down in the country's genepool.

It is related to IQ and it's rather surprising!! Interesting to see people's reactions. Many opinions but no one knew, actually, it's not the low IQ'ers that have most abortions.

Then why did you ask those questions in the OP?

It really looked like you didn't know.

Your link( which doesn't work) could have been put in the OP....(??)

no, but I think people against easy access to long term birth control to reduce abortion have a low IQ

I agree with Palin, Abstinence is just not realistic

as one that has had two children out of wedlock, one while being paid to be an Abstinence Ambassador, she should know

    do anti-choicers have low IQ?

"Va. Lawmaker: Disabled Kids are God's Punishment for Abortion"

    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/va-lawmaker-disabled-kids-are-gods-punishment-for-abortion/

"Republican Virginia State Delegate Bob Marshall said at a press conference last week that God is taking "vengeance" on parents who have had abortions by making their other children disabled"

"Rep. Todd Akin Says Women Can Shut Down Post-Rape Pregnancy"

    https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/summeranne/rep-todd-akin-says-women-can-shut-down-post-rape

"From what I understand from doctors, that's really rare. If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that down. "

Dead link. And I think we'll need something a little newer than 1971 for any credibility. Try to come up with something newer than Roe v Wade, for Gawd's sake...

If you read my post, it tells you to copy and paste the link, it's a PDF.

The main factor posters use on abortion is education, yet no one picked up on my OP!!!

Please read my post correctly, it asks you to copy and paste the link. The link is a PDF to the study on abortion and IQ.

Why didn't you C&P the link in your OP?

Why can't you do it now?

And, did you have a point?

Dead link. It's on YOU to post the link in a click and go format. It's easy --

    And I'll say again:

I think we'll need something a little newer than 1971 for any credibility. Try to come up with something newer than Roe v Wade, for Gawd's sake...

If your argument is based on a study older than push-button phones, you've already lost.

Only low IQ people reduce this concern to this childish level. No sex anymore unless you want kids!

Actually I think the men are the ones with the low IQ since they won’t have any say after she gets pregnant. The decision is hers and if she wants the baby he has to support it for 18years
