Your previous post mocked someone who thought capitalism should have safeguards and accused him of becoming socialist. The reverse of that is you must want unfettered capitalism.

 

The mocking was meant to illustrate that conservatives want safeguards only when it suits or protects them. F everyone else as they scream socialism.

I was responding to your question of “who is them”.

I can see reasonings for both sides, on one hand I support freedom of association to an extent (minus necessary services) and the primary people that are being banned are the same groups that believe freedom of association is a paramount principle of the US. Oh the other hand I agree that discrimination based on an individual’s inclusion of a particular group is a bad thing for society but feel this is less that and more what they have written.

Short answer, yes, I feel social media companies should be able to ban groups that they do not wish to promote or be associated with their views.

That is incorrect. This is the reason for the anger on the right. It should be noted that they are banning much more than just the right. The long term goal is to eliminate ALL competition to the MSM... so all popular channels are targeted. When they come for the popular left wing channels, you probably won't stand up for them either (you appear to be a wholly owned commodity of the MSM).

On a single social media platform? Honestly I have no idea — people get their news off of satire sites these days so our democracy, at least on an informed level, is already destroyed.

But no one is banning all conservative voices, they are banning individuals and groups that spread hate and disinformation, there have been a few leftist individuals caught up in the dragnet but what does that say about a political ideology when it is based around false narratives? That to me is the more dangerous issue to democracy.

Assumptions on your end again, I don’t care who social media bans, people that use social media for their primary source of information are part of the problem in this country.

Your hopes are in line with the elite. They want what you want.....

1. Mass Muslim immigration to the west.
2. The complete destruction of Christianity.
3. The annihilation of free speech and the implementation of licensed speech controlled by the elite
4. The annihilation of freedom of association - WITH THE EXCEPTION of the elite.
5. Increased racial hatred and violence amongst the working classes - as a deflection from their ever devolving status in society
6. Disarmament of the people to prevent revolt
7. Oligarchy as a replacement for capitalism.
8. The replacement of independent national governments/press with a super state controlled by an international elite answerable to nobody.
9. Endless wars for profit to increase the supply of refugees as immigrants

Basically it is just bunch of megalomaniacs who want to rule the world engaged in the same kind of empire building that ended up in WWI & WWII. I suspect they are setting up for the biggest blood bath in human history. Read a history book once. It is never the working classes that initiate mass death.... it always originates with the elite. The people you are carrying water for don't even think you are human... you are just fodder to them.
