Huawei Ban Will Hurt US Companies More Than China

    1. Well-respected global rating firm S&P has now come forward to claim that the ongoing ban on Huawei by the US government will have a far more severe impact on companies within the nation than on the OEM or its home region. The assessment reportedly comes down to a single point. American companies such as Qualcomm, Micron, Qorvo, and Lumentum depend heavily on Huawei's business to generate revenue.....

    2. As shown in the above article, the US is so determined to cripple China economically that it is willing to sacrifice the business interests of its own technology companies, not to mention the huge losses suffered by foreign firms worldwide in the collateral damage.

As an analogy of US ruthlessness in implementing the containment policy, a man hired somebody to carry out a bomb attack on his rival’s stall in a market, even killing his own business friends in the process.

Using another analogy, in the morning of 13 May 2018, an Indonesian couple sacrificed themselves and their four children in three bomb attacks on churches in the city of Surabaya.

    3. There is a Chinese idiom, "Killing one to warn a hundred." It is critical for China to respond decisively to Trump's containment policy which could last from twenty years to a century. Failure to see Trump get beaten like a tin drum would embolden other more hawkish and dangerous bipartisan white supremacists to follow in his footsteps, possibly prolonging the global economic holocaust to several centuries.

Global economic holocaust for several centuries because of white supremacists? That's just mad frothing fearmongering. If your goal is to make Trump look good by making his detractors look insane, then you are doing a good job.

I wonder why so many of the violent leftists here care so much about the US continuing to subsidize the Chinese military.

And suddenly all these same leftists that hate business and profits are worried about corporate profits.

My great friend, where on earth is this place called "Tienanamen Square"? It sounds more like "banana men".

Maybe it exists only in your own world of reality.

Please look at the mirror before you criticize others.

Yep, you take trolling very seriously. But you're bad at it. Here's a tip: trolls work better when they actually make some kind of sense. The point of trolling is to piss people off, not just to leave them scratching their heads wondering what you thought you were talking about.

Company A depends on Supplier B for business.
Supplier B can no longer do business with Company A.
    Company A meets Supplier C.
    Business continues.
    China can go **** itself.

Or it just passes off the costs to the buyer. They pay a little more but still get what they want.

That's a possibility but not a guarantee. China is a cancer that the whole world is refusing to treat because we've all helped them to become so ingrained in our lives that we're petrified to stem the tide. It can cost us jobs now or lives later but there's a clash on the horizon.

China's commies have been set back...

In addition to tariff increases, the U.S. blacklisted Huawei Technologies Co., threatened other major Chinese tech companies and essentially cut-off China from the international supply chain it needs to sustain itself. Beijing responded by drawing up a list of “unreliable entities” and making threats against any enterprise that would walk away from business engagement with China. The totalitarian response has worsened the situation, and more companies have announced their intent to decouple from Beijing.

I have no issues with Trump banning China's 5G use in America

I wish they woudl also ban American companies from outsourcing jobs to place like India

that said, Trump is already looking like he plans to back of their threat

Calling people white supremacists who don't sit back and let the Chinese rule the roost, cheat in trade agreements, manipulate their currency, steal other countries' IP is so chineezy of you. Huawei is a threat to our national security, which should come before profits of private companies. I'm amazed that our government has actually banned Huawei. They usually side with the money people.
Any and probably every technology that makes Huawei some big can't-do-without company like you claim it is has probably been stolen from the West anyway. I'm sure anything Huawei can offer can be offered by a Western company. The Chinese government is just mad because Huawei was one of their favorite subsidized companies that held great promise in taking over the number one position in telecommunications, and cheap cell phones sales. While the US government dropped the subsidies for US cell phone makers, Huawei has continued to be heavily subsidized by the Chinese Communist Party who is rumored to actually own Huawei.

Besides, China doesn't need the West to take it down. China is in the act of suicide right now. It's building boom (from where all those millions of empty offices and apartments came from) and all the credit used to build them will come back to bite China in the ass. In the near future there will be a housing bubble in china the likes of which the world has never seen.
Not only that but to quell the masses china has been raising wages. Pretty soon you won't be able to exploit the cheap labor force. Then there goes your competitiveness. Then there is the environmental disaster that is china. And we won't even get into the lack of quality control and poor quality of Chinese products.
