It use to be that people minded their own business when it involved a person and their marriage. Affairs have been around....well.....a lot longer than marriages have. The "looking down" on others over personal matters was normally done by those that were very egotistical and judgmental.....or religious.

 

Actually, it would be more correct to say that it is not any of my business what a person does inside of their marriage. As far as I know, the spouse could be completely fine with the arrangement. However, my marriage and my wife IS my business, so that is where I would have an issue.

 

Yeah - it USED to be, and I wish we still had that as a standard since if you can cheat on your spouse, what else will you cheat on? But once you had feminists saying you can give cheaters a pass, what's the point of further debate?

 

Well, what can we expect from so many people in two generations that were very poorly educated in public schools and who have never really learned how to do anything useful?
