Should Joe Biden Run For President With Bernie Sanders as the vice president? Simple question. The Democrats were polling me.

Just what we need. Three geriatrics in the line for President. We could end up with an 85 year old Pelosi....I remember back in the ‘60s when a reporter asked Casey Stengel who was managing the New York Mets how he felt. Casey said: “Pretty good considering that most people my age are dead, you can look it up.”....Casey was 75 at the time....nuff said.

Agree that Kamila has to be in the mix either as president or vice. Harris already indicated being open to the idea of having Biden as a running mate. Two old white men would be less appealing since the GOP is also running two old white/ yellow hair men.

Well, I have to admit it - Kamala's already been thru puberty so she would at least be completely safe with Biden. She's much too old to be his type.

Thing is, would Kamala accept? She can't sleep with Joe for a higher position - unless she's possibly thinking it's a good way to get the UN Secretary-General nod.

Still no real answer as to why Kamala would accept. I mean, how's Kamala gonna sleep her way to the top with Biden?

Well, Trump slept his way to the bottom of the gutter and Republicans are fine with that.

Bernie and biden on the same ticket? In terms of policy that makes zero sense. And its not going to help bridge the gap between progressive voters snd standard democrats. Progressives are done with establishment dems. And biden would completely dismiss any policies bernie would try and push for. Bernie would effectively be sidelined into obscurity.

Kamala on the other hand could be on the ticket. She’s enough of a sell out that she would fit right in with biden.

I don't think Biden will make it past the primary debates.

If Biden gets the nomination, I'd prefer Warren or Harris as VP, but I'd certainly vote for the Biden/Sanders ticket if that's what happens.

I'd rather see Sanders leading the ticket. I'm tired of Democrats playing it "safe" and failing to listen to their own constituency, and I'm afraid that's what Biden would be. Still, it remains to be seen how the debates play out and public opinion changes.

I think actively going for Trump voters would be a disastrous decision for Democrats. Far better if they go for the Democratic Socialist wing of the Democratic party.

They should go for everybody. Both parties should, really. This bitter, hostile divide in our politics is unsustainable. It places the future of our nation at grave risk. People need to calm down, get informed, vote responsibly and quit in-fighting.

Talk about the ultimate old foggie white male ticket. You just hit on it. Come next year Biden at 77 and Sanders at 78, wow. That ticket also doesn't have regional balance. Vermont and Delaware. An all Northeastern ticket to boot. Although it would have more or less an ideological balance, Biden the more moderate along with the most liberal socialist this nation has to offer. Personally, I'd rather see a fresh young face gain the nomination. If that fresh young face is from flyover country, so much the better.

The Democrats did pretty well with fresh young faces when they ran, also from flyover country. Jimmy Carter, Georgia, Bill Clinton Arkansas, Obama Illinois. Not so well with tired old faces from the northeast, Dukakis Massachusetts, Kerry Massachusetts and Hillary Clinton, New York.

Biden and Bernie on the same ticket reminds of the movie "dumb and dumber".

I didn't vote because my response isn't as simple as your choices. I don't think a Biden/Sanders ticket would reflect the diversity of the Democratic Party as well as a Biden/Harris or Biden/Buttigieg ticket would. I'd also prefer a Biden/Warren ticket over the Sanders choice, because you'd get a strong Progressive plus a woman on the ticket. But ANY combination would be better than another Trump Presidency, so I'd certainly vote for a Biden/Sanders ticket over Trump.

IIRC Pence is in his 50s. Which is the most common age decade for American presidents.
