Why did Donald Trump turn his back on Iran?

I agree, that is most likely what will happen, I do not think anyone expects Trump will actually fix anything, he is only good at breaking things like a bull in a china shop

 

This is just one more faux pas to unravel after Trump is gone.

 

To think the destabilization that Trump has brought will end when he’s out of office is foolish. And the Democratic party is playing their hand poorly, a second term is not out of the question.

We’ve weakened our relations with europe, the UK is also in turmoil, and have decimated our position in asia; losing the Philippines, and Japan is looking to become militarily independent (which our nationalists support). Not strong militaries, sure, but the world is built on trade these days, losing those trade routes is amputating.

We’ve neglected Central and South America for decades, overtly supporting coups within countries, losing a strong international footing is worse when we can’t even consolidate our neighbors.

Our only saving grace is the IMF, which China is looking to build a competitor.

I thought that that guy was one of the best posters that i ever ran into on any discussion forum..... and I have been kind of addicted to these things for nearly twenty years.
