President Trump is in Orlando today to officially launch his 2020 re-election campaign and the crowd outside Amway Center is growing rapidly.

More than 1,000 Trump supporters waited in line early Tuesday for the official kickoff of the president’s 2020 re-election campaign in Orlando.

Around 8 a.m., the gates opened to the fenced off “45 Fest” area next to the Amway Center, where a band called The Guzzlers was playing and food trucks lined up serving food.

Those who had started waiting nearly two full days before the event’s start at 8 p.m. waved flags, talked among themselves and sat in their lawn chairs to enjoy the music.

Jennifer Pedito, who said she got in line Monday at 2 a.m. — 42 hours before Trump is set to speak — said spending the night along South Division Avenue under her tent was a lot of fun, despite the heavy thunderstorms.

“It was something else,” said Pedito of Melbourne. “We had a big tent. We got under our tent and waited it out.”

“This one’s huge, with the music, the food truck, the size of the crowd,” she said.

Trump tweeted Monday that there had been more than 100,000 requests for tickets. The Amway Center has capacity for about 20,000.

Well, would be interesting to see if the place will really be filled up - 20,000 for the campaign opening rally is no small **** - I think, Obama's initial campaign (reelection) rallies were in the 10,000 numbers?

Is there a way to independently verify trump's claim of 100,000 ticket requests?

Any guesses how many people will want to see Biden at his first official reelection rally? 10? 15? :D

    A WHOLE 1,000 People!:roflol:

The crowd at Gandhi's Funeral is in jeopardy.:roflol:

Speaking of Orlando, the home of Disney World (and many other attractions), it seems like a great location for a Mentally-Unstable Carnival Freak (like Donald Trump) to draw a crowd.

Their MAGA caps made in China have been costing them more recently.

This has been all over the radio and local news. The traffic and security is going to be a nightmare, but there seems to be a general sense of pride and excitement that Trump chose Orlando. Our Florida weather has been brutal ---- it's either been hot as hell, or it's pouring rain. I hope those folks aren't too uncomfortable with the weather. The loyal support of patriots like them is what helps give steam to the MAGA train.

It confirms what I've always thought.

Those who go to the Trump rallies are unemployed people who have nothing else to do all day.

"When President Trump speaks in front of some 20,000 people Tuesday night at a jam-packed arena in Orlando, he’ll formally kick off his 2020 re-election campaign.

Highlighting the enthusiasm on the ground, Trump and his campaign have been tweeting in the run-up about the early-gathering crowds, with some supporters arriving more than 40 hours in advance to secure a spot in the arena.

But while Tuesday's crowd size will be touted by the president's campaign -- and surely beats the crowds gathering to see his would-be Democratic rivals right now -- there are other numbers that tell the full story of that incumbent's advantage.

One of them is $40.8 million. That’s the unprecedented amount of cash-on-hand the Trump campaign had in its coffers as of the start of the second quarter of fundraising on April 1. While that’s a massive war chest on its own, the Trump campaign, the Republican National Committee, and their joint fundraising committees had a combined $82 million cash-on-hand going into second quarter."

$40.8 billion in fundraising! Go Trump.......

Of course he exaggerates, every politician does. Let's see if tonight's crowd meets my expectations (or yours)

Give it a few more hours?

Twitter Libs are already complaining about thousands of Trump supporters who have nothing better to do than to wait in line to see Trump and do not otherwise contribute to the Society... I'm sure you're one of those who think the same, right? :applause:

    What's she been poling at... 3%? 5%

Like I said, let's see if Trump can fill this 20,000 venue at his first reelection rally? That' be something, right?

Not really. U2 can fill a 80,000 seat stadium in an hour of ticket sales. So can the Spice Girls.
    Trump just isn't that special.

In all fairness, a lot of those in attendance there came for her free "extra" services. Willie Brown gave Kamalla five stars. I think I see him there in aisle three near the center.

He's the one with his pants down to his ankles. Wait, that doesn't help much, does it?
