They used an incidental explosion of a steam engine in a ship as an excuse to start the war the against Spain. The Vietnam war was also propelled by a fake attack on a ship.

They also tested icm’s which were prohibited in the agreement. Trump caused this problem. Best fix is to defeat Trump in 2020, then regenerate another agreement with the Iranians (if they'll trust us enough).

I disagree. But if you weren't satisfied, the proper way to handle it would have been to talk to Iran about changes rather than simply pull out & bully them with new economic sanctions. Trump has simply increased the chances Iran will seek to build atomic weapons--to protect themselves from us.

Obama got an agreement whereby Iran would reduce its stockpiles of enriched uranium and its capability to enrich.

It wasn't a perfect agreement but it was better than what Donny has done, which is no agreement.

Do you know the history between the U.S. & Iran? We have been the aggressors since the early 1950s. We overthrew their democratically elected government in 1953 & installed a puppet monarchical regime that the Iranian people hated. Capitulation isn't part of the picture here. We need to change our attitude & treat Iran with some respect, because we've not done that in the past & that caused these problems we deal with today. We have to take responsibility for our own behaviors & make amends. We were wrong.

No. The original deal did not allow access to military installations. BUT, there was a clause that allowed the US to request access to them. Iran said no.

Weapons grade uranium is made in very special facilities and requires a lot of time to make. Also, as part of the deal Iran was watched very carefully by the international community so that we could identify if they were receiving any materials that could be used to make nuclear weapons, and if they were trying in any way to get the raw materials to make the weapons themselves. There was never any proof they did that. And we know that because they were complying with every inspection we asked for.

This administration is saber ratteling to divert from Trumps problems right now. Hell, Stevie Wonder can see that

What exactly do you base that belief on? It clearly isn’t evidence because Iran has never used WMDs in its history, even when they were used on them by their enemies first.

The deal was still in effect with many european countries. Just cause America left the deal doesnt mean the other nations will....

Iran breaking the deal will lead to the rest of the world siding with America again.

Iran bombed some oil tankers just in case some other country was thinking about trusting them.....

 

They were in compliance when USA left and imposed sanctions. America is insisting that other countries - that are still part of the agreement - comply with American sanctions. Which kind of undercuts the entire deal.

There is no reason to believe that Iran would break the deal if America had not withdrawn. Ergo, by withdrawing, Trump has made the world less safe than it was before.
