So what was the big screen for? A view of an empty auditorium?
Just another Trump exaggeration. Kind of like the inaugural crowd.

Then the area in the image was full of people who entered the stadium, and people in some of the less desirable seats may have preferred to stand closer in the aisles. Most of the stuff left behind was not trash - lots of lawn chairs, tents, clothing and various kinds of shelters.

events like that often get trashed... by both sides, just happens... especially when people camp out for these events

they go to Walmart, buy some cheap camping gear and away they go

That excuse would almost work if Colberts crew hadn't gone online and got tickets when they were denied press entrance. :)

Well in the case of a rally I'd say it's wrong to say that.... Now if it's an impromptu riot maybe they'd have a point

I have amassed hundreds of hours of sick time, comp time, and vacation time. Hundreds. I would gladly spend 36 of them to attend a rally.

    Gladly.

Plus you could go to the rally and then hit up vacation spots being that it was in Florida..... The ole 2 birds 1 stone

And camping gear is not trash. It has value. Conservatives usually police up their real trash - food containers etc. I suppose that after 40 hours of waiting outside this event may be an exception.
I am sure they were very ready to get back home. The weather looked miserable.

This whole debate has moved beyond ridiculous at this point.

There were 100k requests for tickets, for a stadium that only holds 25k people. This was made very clear all along ---- that the stadium would only hold 25k people ---- and was reiterated by various radio stations and local news reports repeatedly so that people would be prepared for the reality that only 25k would get in. As the day went on there were additional local news reports of the logistics, potential traffic problems, confusion over which lots were allowing parking etc., and apparently some sort of issue with how people entered (I didn't catch all of this, but apparently that was one part which was not organized well, leading to a lot of extra walking and waiting.)

These facts, paired with the poor weather forecast, undoubtedly led some people to stay home. I was invited by a friend but opted not to go; ultimately my friend did not go either. Why stand in the 90 degree heat and/or rain, when I could watch from the comfort of my home. There were even reports of people suffering from heat exhaustion, before the storms rolled in. I admire their dedication, but that was not for me. I'm sure I was not alone.

Whatever the final number was, it was a huge crowd, and every local report talked about the excitement and the crowd and also the boost to the local economy. To pretend "nobody" was there is stupid, and has been debunked repeatedly.

What matters most is next November. Until then y'all can argue crowd sizes and popularity polls all you want ;)

The ONLY source for that article was the totally debunked book Clinton Cash. The inconvenient truth is that the CANADIAN owner of the CANADIAN company, who actually donated the $100 + million to the Clinton Global Initiative, that was eventually bought by Uranium One in 2010 had divested in 2007 from the company completely and had nothing to do with the sale or Russia or Uranium One. Again pay attention to the dates as I pointed out that the TIMELINE alone completely debunks this GOP/Trumpian lie.

    https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2017-11-14/clinton-uranium-scandal-doesn-t-have-much-fuel
By 2006, Giustra had donated more than $30 million to the Clintons' charitable endeavors and pledged $100 million more.

The next year, Giustra sold his mining company, UrAsia, to a large Canadian uranium-mining firm called Uranium One. Soon after that, Russia's state-owned nuclear energy entity Rosatom began to swallow Uranium One piece by piece, and in 2010 proposed upping its stake to 51 percent. Because the company mines in the U.S., CFIUS got involved and gave the deal its blessing, as did the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. (Rosatom eventually bought the remaining 49 percent.)

Every time a Tramp lie is exposed the Right simply make excuses. The fact remains there was no overflow crowd of "dedicated" Trumpists and he didn't even fill all the 20,000 inside seats.

To put things in perspective, there were one hundred times the amount of attendees for 45 Fest than attendance for not one or two of the Democrat candidates , but 9 of them. Nine. Of them. 200 show up and can't fill a cafeteria. Trump has 10's of thousands in attendance and you spot some empty seats. Big deal, if I were in one of those seats way up there I would gotten up as well and went and stood in front of the stage. No way I'd miss the chance. I bet a lot of people did that.

He raised nearly twice as much money on the first day of fundraising than the top 5 Democrats. Combined. You know what that is called? Momentum. He has it. The left doesn't understand why there are so many supporters because they never venture outside their bubble and take notice what has people motivated with this kind of energy. TDS is real.

Those who hate Trump take him literally but not seriously. Those who love Trump take him seriously but not literally. He says crazy things sometimes, I do too. I love that guy.

And I love it when you call people names like you're in grade school, really shows how immature the left is. Y'all pick on his hair, hands, orange skin, hair, and hair. And that is because you can't argue with his policies. You have nothing but body shaming at your disposal.

Keep it up, pointing to your posts when I speak with liberals IRL makes it easy to exemplify my claim that liberals "body shame" more than anyone else does.

And I said all this without calling anyone a name. :)

Good job, but it has nothing to do with the thread.

That you would grasp for that as if you felt it would matter to anyone but you is a demonstration in futile attempts to besmirch Trump or his fans at any and all costs.

All you have is a ticket in hand and the inability to address anything that truly matters to this country. You decry his Orange skin, it doesn't matter. You demean him for his hair and hands, it doesn't matter. The rest of us are concerned with policy issues. The rest of us are concerned with America.

And my post has everything to do with this thread. Especially the part of you taking Trump literally and not seriously.
