More Mexicans Now Back Tough Immigration Enforcement, Univision Reports

    Trump administration measures to pressure Mexico to halt the flow of asylum seekers traversing their country are sparking a surge in support among Mexicans for cracking down on illegal immigration.

    In a report from Mexico City, Univision correspondent Alejandro Madrigal cited a new poll by the Mexican newspaper El Universal that indicates that since October 2018, the percent of Mexicans who believe the Mexican government should prevent unauthorized immigrants from entering and crossing through their country has climbed from 49% to 61%.

    ...The poll also found that 54% of Mexicans are opposed to their government offering work visas to the asylum-seeking wave of Central Americans flooding into their country. The same poll also found that 47% of Mexicans believe President Trump will deliver on his threats to impose tariffs on Mexican imports, while 21% do not.

    Interesting development-looks like Mexico is rapidly becoming anti illegal immigrant.

    And also, they very much believe Trump about implementing tariffs.

    I wonder what the DNC will think about this?

    Yep, now that it looks like the Mexicans are bigoted racists, I'm absolutely certain the left will not want any of them in this country any time soon.

    One would think that our average leftist would begin suspecting that there is a problem between what their leadership ORDERS them to believe and say and what is actually happening in the world; but it would appear that they have an endless capacity to lie to themselves or at least embrace fantasies.

    We probably won't hear from the left until after Joe and Mika go on the air tomorrow and give them their talking points. Of course it will be Trump's fault that Mexicans are racists.

    Whats crazy is now many latin American countries are setting up immigration and border security.

    It turns out that the sudden influx of asian and african immigrants is causing havoc down there.

    Every leader of every country down there should have the foresight to realize the Pandora's Box this whole illegal migration issue is.

    As long as there is this idea that it's okay to just pick up and illegally migrate to any country better than your own, every country is at risk (except for whichever one is at the bottom of the heap.)

    And the more we (the US) crack down on illegal immigration, the more the rest of those countries are going to be left to absorb these migrants.

    Where are all the liberals, how come they're not chiming in? Do they not care about Mexico letting in illegals and lower their crime rate while boosting their economy?
