I already told you I don't bother debating zealots on either side of this issue. Those that think life begins at conception and those that think life begins at birth as you do just waste my time. Run along.

Why do you insist that every woman is a clone and every situation with pregnancy and birth are exactly the same for every woman and every pregnancy ???

    Why do you insist that??

This will shock you but all women are different and all have different situations…….that's just the way it is and no matter what you think, women are individuals..

CALL a doctor, talk to the experts who are INVOLVED in the ACTUAL situations and that is NOT YOU !..and ask them if every woman's situation is exactly the same...go ahead...the truth is waiting for you to discover it...

In every legal discussion I've seen for 46 years on Roe, I've heard it's a very weak decision constitutionally. Even so, I've never heard it would be easy to overturn because it is precedent. Courts are extremely hesitant to overturn established law, especially when it involves a prior SCOTUS case.

So tell that to all the excited righties who are so convinced that they soon will be able to take away women's right to their own bodies by overturning RvW…

My point stands, ""Discuss" isn't "overturn"...:)

Why do abortion rights fanatics such as yourself continually make this claim?

Cherry picking without any substance is always so patently obvious!

For starters EARLY testing has a FALSE POSITIVE rate of 5% and it is also only has an ACCURACY of detection in the 60-65% range.

    https://americanpregnancy.org/prenatal-testing/first-trimester-screen/

Furthermore this testing is OPTIONAL, not mandatory and it COSTS MONEY for those who do not have the funds for copays, etc.

So your BOGUS allegation that "birth defects are found early" is bovine excrement. Only SOME are found early IF the subsequent DIAGNOSTIC testing is AVAILABLE AND AFFORDABLE.

    https://www.guttmacher.org/fact-sheet/induced-abortion-united-states

Then there are other FACTORS that you are IGNORING!

    https://americanpregnancy.org/prenatal-testing/first-trimester-screen/

So who is going to pay for all of the ADDITIONAL TESTING?

Why do anti-abortion "fanatics such as yourself" continue to make UNSUBSTANTIATED claims about women and abortions?

UH, people who believe that women have a right to their own bodies are "fanatics" ???

Really...? No, they believe women have rights just like you do and that does NOT make them fanatics.

    His point is valid.

The right ceases to care about that "precious life" the second it's born, they continually attempt to cut funding to entities that support children, like Welfare, SANAP, WIC, even healthy school lunches!!!

If it wasn't about controlling women they would just mind their own business.....and they would NOT propose that women who are raped get an exception for having an abortion...

Great post as always but you do know that when you make posts longer than a bumper sticker they use that as an excuse not to address it :)

So, you have no real proof most legal experts think the ruling is bad.
Kinda disappointing you can't back up your claim.

They whine when we post facts that make them uncomfortable and demand that they be substantiated and then they whine that when we provide credible substantiation that it is way too much for them to read! ;)

Who then? Seems like the same people pay for early detection as for late term abortion.

    "Seems like"?

Seems like you are just pulling crap out of your nether regions.

There are 3.55 MILLION pregnancies and between 700k and 900k abortions each year.

There are around 10k late term abortions.

Facts matter to everyone except those who want to take away women's rights.

Just as I stated. The same people pay for early screening as pay for late term abortion so I don't think the financial argument of saying it's cheaper to abort at the last minute than it is to pay for early detection is valid and that leaves out the repugnant moral factors involved.

Asinine non sequitur without even any attempt to provide any credible substantiation duly noted for the record.

Feel free to correct me. If you have evidence different sources fund late term abortion than early screening please share it and I will stand corrected.

Inane strawman duly noted and ignored for obvious reasons.

The obligation is on YOU to substantiate your bogus allegation.

I actually formed my initial statement in the form of a question and apparently you have no answer. Duly noted for obvious reasons.

So if anti abortion persons supported those polices (and I support most of them) you would agree that their opposition to abortion is about the safety and welfare of the children and NOT about "controlling" women?

    Thought not.
