But outside the UK not allowed to hav drive with special and very special permission in public area and streets. Everything what has tracks is very difficult to get allowed to drive!

Yeah, same here, have to have special rubber add ons to the tracks to keep them from damaging roads. Although I have never seen a tracked vehicle driving down the public road, military or civilian, unless it was on a flatbed truck. I'm sure it happens closer to army bases, I recall someone posting about an M1 tank on a public road and a woman drove too close behind it and the exhaust gases ruined her paint job.

This applies to all tracked vehicles. An acquaintance of mine collects original military vehicles and he could have had a WWII US M-3 Half Track ... but not allowed to drive on the road, even though he has a complete rubber track.

As for driving behind a tank, I could often puke. The braking distance of a main battle tank (M-1, Leopard 2, does not matter ...) at 60 km / h = about 38 mp / h is only a few meters ... the one car, however, is much longer!
I once experienced it live, as VW Passat car stuck only 10 meters behind a Leopard 2 and the Leopard 2 then stopped at a red light. The Leopard then had a VW trailer ... and the driver of the leopard had not even noticed.

Nice slight of hand and distortion of the facts from a biased source.
    1. Mass shootings are a tiny % of gun crime.
    2. Suicide is not violent gun crime.

Meaning that it is not actually possible for yourself to explain what more can be done to prevent criminals from illegally acquiring firearms, as everything that can be done already has been done. The only course of action that has not yet been taken to prevent illegal acquisition is indefinite confinement for convicted criminals to separate them from society at large for the duration of their natural lives.

Then detail precisely how such can go about being done. Merely throwing out soundbyte-sized claims is insufficient.

And back on the merry go round we go. This has been done to death. You repeal the 2nd Amendment. (Here come the howls of yadda yadde yadda.) Get over that point. We all know that jackschit will happen unless the 2nd goes. Meantime kids are slaughtered at schools, people are slaughtered at their work place and people are slaughtered attending a musical event. You okay with that? "Explain such."

There is no constitutional right regarding the use, production, or distribution of illicit narcotic substances. Despite that fact, despite any legal standing, the united states government has been unable to put an end to such, despite waging a supposed "war" against such substances for decades.

How would the matter prove anymore successful with regard to firearms than it has with illicit narcotic substances?

You can quit any job any time you want to, there's nothing in the law against quitting.

I've never heard of a single person prosecuted for quitting a job.

Striking is risky. A striker may not have a job to return to.

If an employer can agree to hire only union members the employer should be able to put any pigeon-hole constraints on who they hire, such as WASP only or AME only or Elk members only or NAACP members only.

Actually the government supports illicit narcotic use by blinking to ignore it and just slapping the wrist when it does a little something about it. It even puts some young people on supplemental social security for using drugs. War? There's been no war on drugs.

"The Supreme Court functions as a last resort tribunal. Its rulings cannot be appealed. It also decides on cases dealing with the interpretation of the constitution (for example, it can overturn a law passed by Congress if it deems it unconstitutional).'

Like I said, they can overturn "unconstitutional laws" and establish precedent in cases based on consideration. But it does not make law. That role goes to Congress.
Mr. "I've been a teacher for 3 decades" doesn't even know who passes the laws, or how they are passed.

Wrong. That's just your imagination. The constitution doesn't explicitly state this. It mentions nothing of "right to work".

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Notice it doesn't say "supreme court". That's because they dont make laws. They use existing laws to established precedent BASED on the constitution.

It may be found in wikipedia. But it's not found in our constitution.

When I said thay they have less freedom per capita you disagreed and said that I was gaslighting someone.

When I explained that they are less free because they have less guaranteed rights, you said that that was wrong and was slurring against Australia

Your position is evident to anyone.

One is a loaded term, the other is not. One is akin to calling someone a natzi, the other is akin to calling someone a progressive. By your standard, calling someone "right leaning", "left leaning", conservative, liberal, or a progressive would be against the rules too.

It wouldn't be a political forum if we cant descus and describe each other's political views.

Thanks for making my point. :roflol:

    The data doesn't support it.

If there was a direct causation between the amount of guns available and gun violence, then Chicago, which has some of the strictest gun laws in America, would be one of the safest. Its clearly not.

Isn't it strange that the cities that Democrats control have the highest gun violence?

1 New Orleans -Run by Democrats
    2 Memphis -Run by Democrats
    3 Birmingham -Run by Democrats
    4 Baltimore -Run by Democrats
5 St. Louis -Run by Democrats
    6 Milwaukee -Run by Democrats
    7 Louisville -Run by Democrats
    8 Detroit -Run by Democrats
9 Kansas City -Run by Democrats
    10 Chicago -Run by Democrats

Not only that, the areas they control also have the highest murder rates

Don't know about "lefties," but abortion should be a matter between the woman and her doctor.

In general, people who want a particular course of action often cite extremes to justify their position. Lefties, righties ... they all do it.

Isn't is strange the cities highlighted above are in states typically controlled by Republicans who are responsible for how their cities operate.

    An inconvenient truth, huh?

So democrats dont run the democratic runned cities. Got it
I guess the Mayors and city council just twiddle their thumbs all day.

No wonder Democrat runned cities are failing. No wonder California is failing.

The stat is a fact that we can put in a context but it's a fact nevertheless.

Another fact is that relatively few deaths are a result of long guns in rural and semi-rural communities.

Another fact ... a lot of the gun homicides (not suicides) are caused by handguns in cities.

Maybe we should focus on solutions applied to cities.

What does this say about our problem?

Cities are the creation and responsibility of state government. Why are Republican-controlled states letting their cities fall apart?
Because Republicans running the states where the cities are located let it happen?
    Uh huh.

Oh look - more 'there will be blood in the streets' knee-jerk nonsense from the reactionary anti-gun left.

At the expense of unionized workers being able to quit their jobs en masse?

Right-to-work laws should be declared unconstitutional. Workers should be able to quit their jobs (strike). Seems like SCOTUS cares more about businesses than people. President LardButt is appointing even more business toadies to SCOTUS.
