    It is hard to believe American voters support "free" college, having white people who never owned a slave pay for reparations for people who never were slaves, income tax increases, increasing economic dependence on government spending, limiting CO2 emissions (stop heating your house and driving), letting illegals swarm into the country for free stuff, and allowing governments hostile to the US to develop nuclear weapons. I would think in a national level debate these positions would not get much support except from the die hard liberals. But one thing we can count on in a national debate is a large scale replay of this:
